Basic ‘wild camp’ type site with limited facilities as advertised but if you can live without a shower for a couple of days it’s worth it for the view! Friendly owners and free tea and coffee provided in a sheep trailer. Clean portaloos and did I mention the view!!!!No em va agradar: –

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: The pitches are a really good size and good that you can select your own. The portaloos were spotless to say how busy the site got. We bought firewood to have our fire in our very own firepit, which was lovely as it was so cold at night. We saw a " Sundog," which was amazing.
No em va agradar: Our nearest neighbours had a little dog that was loose and seemed to prefer our tent to its campervan. The owner constantly shouted for it to come back! We didnt mind the dog and told the owner it was fine but he insisted on constantly shouting it! Lots of dogs running free!

Peaceful location, friendly owner who replenisher the "trailer" with fresh drinking water, tea, coffee, milk and hot water regularly. Basic in that it only had a portable toilets, these however were clean and set away from the camp. Turn up, choose your spot, enjoy the views. Job done.
No em va agradar: Nothing to dislike. Camp advertised as no frills and the cost of the pitch reflected this.

Thanks for staying. We're pleased you had a nice stay and enjoyed our tea & coffee. We would love to add a wash up area, but we're not allowed any permanent structures because we're a pop up site. Some campers use the little sink in our trailer to wash dishes.

No em va agradar: Not suitable for motorhomes. 3 motorhomes had to be pulled off by a tractor as they got stuck. Very friendly and helpful but would rather not get stuck in the first place.
We're pleased you enjoyed our stunning views and the local pub. We had a very rainy period and this was early April, so the ground was soft especially for heavy vehicles. We are definitely a suitable site for Motorhomes and have Motorhome owners who camp with us regularly. This was the first time we've ever had to pull any campers off the field. Hope you'll return in the drier summer months.
We're very sorry these guests didn't enjoy their stay. This was the end of a week of heavy rain in
early April ,so the ground was understandable wet. They complained about other campers, but only after the event, so didn't give us an opportunity to resolve the issue there and then. Regardless we fully refunded their booking. Two bookings who camped the same night gave us 10/10 reviews.
