Really can’t fault this place. The site is well laid out. The pitches are spacious with hard standing, electric hookup and hedges either side for privacy.
The toilets were spotless and even had music playing in them.
We didn’t use the shop but did take a look at the service area, even had a big stainless steel flushing chemical loo disposal point.No em va agradar: Absolutely nothing

The showers were nice and warm, very clean - the site was nice and spaced out too. Perfect location as supermarket was 10mins away if needed, also 15mins each way to Sudbury or Colchester.

LOVED the showers. There is a separate area to hang stuff and a seat away from the shower head. Really nice touch.
Loved the radio was playing, and provided hairdryer- very nice touch.
Toilets, showers and washing up area spotlessly clean.Spacious and level pitch.
Anne kept us informed by email about barrier.
And very lovely welcome from her husband .No em va agradar: The site isn't very well lit up at night, and the pitch numbers are really small and placed at the back of the pitch.
We arrived in the dark and we were unable to see our pitch number until we got out of the motorhome, and used a torch.
Reversing in was also difficult as there was no lighting within or outside the pitch.

The reason we don't have lighting everywhere is because people come to enjoy the beautiful night sky and all the wonderful stars that are so visible due to our rural location and lack of light pollution. I appreciate your feedback though and we will endeavour to let late arrivals know that a torch will be beneficial.
