Mature trees provide beauty and shade. Abundance of birds. Various size pitches , lots with hedges and trees for privacy.
Very clean and well tended site. Superb facilities.Very friendly and helpful management .Quiet location with beautiful dog walks . Would definitely recommend.

the site is well maintained with friendly owners, the shower block is in the centre of the main site, there is a keycode barrier and privacy hedges between most pitch's and free wi-fi. We had a meal at The Brewers Arms and it was really nice.

The only two small gripes are there is road noise from the nearby A1071 and without the managers discount the pitch fee would have been more than we normally pay

Clean,quiet site with good sized pitches and modern showers and washing facilities. Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely walks to suit most people in the picturesque Suffolk countryside.

Location, pitch size, toilets and showers, pleasant wardens, good information point with multiple walks from site (including a good forest walk to Polstead; and a good dog walk. Two nearby pubs and close to Stoke by Nayland, seven miles from Sudbury.

The quietness of the place and everything well organised and a nice site

Nothing

Polstead Country Park is a smaller site. It was quiet, clean and well-maintained. A mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches, all accessed by a gravel driveway. The facilities were clean and functioning and all housed in a central area by the main entrance. There was access to a local dog walk and a local pub within easy walking distance (not dog friendly though).

The layout of the site made it feel small and exclusive with plenty of hedges and bushes providing the illusion of seclusion. The pitches were level and of a good size.

The facilities were overall very good and clean.

A very welcoming site.

A personal dislike, push button showers that only run for about 30 to 40 seconds at a time. The water could also of been a little hotter which of course can't be controlled with this type of shower. Not a huge mark down but an area I feel could be improved.

Whilst a rural setting, the site backs onto a main road which is very noisy late into the night and from the early hours. Less of an issue for the motor homes I guess, but very noticeable in a tent.

Just a note to those for whom it is important, the WiFi is pretty poor. Phone signal was not great but the Internet speeds were better mobile.
