Afegiu les dades de la vostra empresaThe word Valdevaqueros in the name of Kampaoh Valdevaqueros comes from the name of one of the most well-known beaches in the Tarifa area – and the site certainly has a good reason for using that name, as the beach itself is only about 400 metres away (and handily accessed via a subway under the road for easy to-ing and fro-ing to the sands).
This stylish glamping site is home to a collection of well-designed and comfortable tipis, all of which are kitted out with beds, bed linen, towels, heating, electric sockets and a fridge. You’ll have your own outside space as well, with a picnic table where you can serve up your alfresco meals and drinks. Shared showers and toilets are close by as well.
The glamping area is part of a larger campsite that’s got a good collection of guest facilities including a swimming pool (open in high season), a playground, a multisports court and a restaurant.
This is a rather spectacular location for a holiday, with views towards the African continent on the horizon (and the port of Tarifa about 10 minutes’ drive away if you want to get over there for a closer look). Closer to home, the beach just across from the site is a place where you can either chill out at the beach bar or get busy with kitesurfing and windsurfing activities.

Llocs d'interès
Valdevaqueros beach, just across from the site, may well keep you occupied for quite some time with its watersports activities and options for eating and drinking. There are several other lovely beaches around though, so you might like also to plan days out at the dunes of Punta Paloma (five minutes’ drive), wide and sandy Tarifa beach (five minutes) or the natural pools of Bolonia (20 minutes).
This part of the Andalusia coast faces out onto the Atlantic Ocean, so that means there are often good waves for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. If you’re not yet up to scratch with the art of staying upright on water, there are plenty of watersports schools along the coastline that can teach you all the tricks you need, and rent you the relevant kit.
Even if you’re not catching a ferry, it’s worth heading down to Tarifa (10 minutes) for a look around anyway, stopping at the Puerto de Jerez, San Mateo church and Castle of Tarifa.
