Fabulous quiet, beautiful campsite with great basic facilities.

Em va agradar Beautiful location, really gorgeous views, quiet, idyllic, FANTASTIC night skies. Small and very friendly, all facilities were regularly cleaned and in good condition. The shower was surprisingly good for a campsite! Campsite owner was super friendly and helpful.
The location is also very handy, as there is a small village shop and a pub about 5 minutes' walk away, and it's very close to beautiful tourist areas like Dunster, beach at Minehead and so on.
It was great to be able to easily purchase firewood and have a campfire. Very few midges etc. Pitches beautifully kept and level. No litter etc. Kids loved it.
We're coming back next year!

Em va agradar The location of the riverside tent is really quiet and relaxing because of the water sounds. The tent was cosy and very well equipped for cooking and rainy days (which we didn't have). Making a campfire every night was great.The surroundings offer beautiful nature and old villages. Next time we could spend a week here easilly.
No em va agradar The bed was a bit noisy , it squeaked and creaked when turning.

Em va agradar Amazing place so quiet and beautiful camp sit small but the best place for are first wild camp the owners were so nice they came 2x a day to make sure all was good if there was a problem it was sorted will be back next year they sold wood which was brilliant the shower was basic but so nice we took the dogs who loved it we went on walks and chilled the loo were clean

Em va agradar We had a wonderful weekend, great location with beautiful surroundings. The children loved playing in the steam and we loved how close we were to everything. The owners were so welcoming and friendly & all the extra touches like the games, footballs etc were fab, the highlight was the amazing star gazing it really is unreal! We can’t wait to book again for next year!
No em va agradar Two showers would be great but we had no problems with what is there at all and everything was extremely clean and well stocked.

Em va agradar The site is clean and quiet. The allocated pitches are spacious. Simple amenities which is what we prefer. The vibe of the site encouraged campers to chat with each other - we meet people from different parts of Europe.

No em va agradar Portaloo smell. Cold showers. Look it’s fine if you are minimalist but when it’s wet and you’ve been cycling and camping for days a few more comforts are required.

Del gerent: Thank you for your review, I am sorry you feel that way but the shower is hot its set at 38 degrees so that children can shower safely, portaloos are cleaned daily, you actually didn't book in or pay for your stay just a deposit! so I find this review rather disappointing.
