A view? Well, yes indeed – the accommodation is just part of the offering at North View Lodges, because this Lincolnshire site also has three lovely fishing lakes to provide a pretty backdrop to your glamping stay. There are two main ways to soak up those views. The first of these is to hang out on the deck of your lodge, which has been provided with outdoor furniture so you can gaze out over the lake in comfort. Each lodge also has a kitchen (with cooker, microwave, fridge and kettle) and a gas barbecue so you can sort yourself some snacks/meals/drinks to keep you going while you relax in the fresh air (there’s a good local supermarket 10 minutes’ walk away for all the supplies). The other option, of course, is to get down to the lakes for some fishing. Lots of varieties are up for grabs (carp, bream and catfish among them) and all levels are catered for, from complete beginners to experienced anglers – you’ll just need to make sure you’ve got the right licence, and follow the catch-and return policy. When you’re not fishing (or in fact, if you don’t want to fish at all) you can fill your time with golf, riding lessons and birdwatching, or pay visits to a bunch of smart stately homes. Peterborough, Spalding and Wisbech are all close by for town wanders and shopping too. Back at your lodge you’ll also have plenty of space to relax – each one has a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with a TV and sofa, and beds are made up for your arrival so you can flop into bed whenever you’re ready.

Em va agradar This was my second stay at the Lodge but about my sixth time here since Easter, I absolutely love this site, the Lodge is exceptionally clean and tidy, extremely spacious and your own private parking space, the fishing here for me is out of this world, the fish are way bigger than most other fisheries and that's just on the pleasure lake, I can't imagine how it may be on the specimen lake (maybe next time),the gentleman who comes around for your fishing fee's is a lovely man, has all the time in the world for you and never stops smiling and laughing, all in all a great (clean and tidy)place to fish and relax within beautiful surroundings

Em va agradar Beautiful lodges in a peaceful area. Lovely and clean, had everything we needed.
We didn’t do fishing but watched others and it was amazing seeing the amount they caught and the size of the fish. Staff were very helpful and polite.
We would definitely go again.

Em va agradar Absolutley perfect stay. Beautiful and peaceful. The lodge was perfect and clean. Fishing was brilliant, dad and son both caught their PB's. We will be back again as often as we can, so glad we found this gem !

When you’ve had your fill of fishing time on site, there are plenty of other places to enjoy some outdoor time nearby. You may like to start with a game at Gedney Hill Golf Club (five minutes’ walk) or perhaps a stroll around RSPB Nene Washes (25 minutes’ drive). There are also more chances to get up close to some big birds at Fens Falconry (15 minutes) or Baytree Owl and Wildlife Centre (20 minutes). Taking a wander around a stately home is another excellent way to spend some time around here – perhaps National Trust - Peckover House and Garden (20 minutes), Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and Gardens (20 minutes) or the huge and grand Burghley House (40 minutes), with an adventure play area, a deer park and a sculpture garden. If you’ve brought the kids, a trip to Skylark Maize Maze & Funyard (half an hour) may well be on the cards; for warm days, there’s also a splendid Art Deco outdoor pool in Peterborough (25 minutes).

Allotjament llogat

Allotjament llogat: en arribar al càmping, haureu de pagar una fiança de 200,00 £ (229,48 €) per danys/neteja/polsera que us reembossaran quan marxeu del càmping si, després d'inspeccionar-la, es determina que la unitat no ha sofert danys ni pèrdues durant la vostra estada.
Estan prohibides les flames a l'interior dels allotjaments de lloguer.
La unitat ha de quedar neta i ordenada. En cas contrari, haureu de pagar un suplement de neteja de 50,00 £ (58,56 €) quan marxeu.
