Admission
- Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
- Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Arrivals and departures
- No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
- Units will be allocated on arrival.
Changes to your holiday
- Changes cannot be made once you have booked.
Coronavirus
- The laundry facilities are currently closed due to restrictions imposed by the coronavirus outbreak.
Dogs
- Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
- Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
- Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
Extras
- Facilities/activities including Archery, Paddleboarding and High Ropes are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.
General
- In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
- Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7:30 a.m..
- Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
- Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.
- The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
- The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
- You'll need an Environment Agency rod licence (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).
Occupancy
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Single-sex bookings of 6 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
Pitches
- A cable measuring at least 3 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Minimum spacing of 3 metres between pitches.
- You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.
Reception
- Reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 01/03 and 31/10 and between 01/09 and 28/02.
- Reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. between 01/03 and 31/10.
- Reception is unmanned after 7 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
Safety
- Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
- Firearms are not permitted.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- Open fires are prohibited.
- Please do not touch or feed the animals.
- Swimming in the lake is not allowed.
Taxes
- This area is not subject to city tax.
Vehicles
- No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m..
- Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
- The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
Visitors
- Visitors must leave the premises by 9 p.m..
- Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
Please let the site know in advance if you wish to book the campfire area for use.
Firewood must be purchased from reception and all campfires must be out by 10pm.
If the reception is closed on arrival, please contact the on-call support, the number is listed on the Reception door.
Activities need to be booked in advance with the contact details provided at the time of booking. Availability is not guaranteed during busy periods.
