It's free, quick and easy!
- Peaceful adults-only park in spacious garden grounds
- Half an hour's drive from Málaga; Ronda an hour
- Open-air pool with outdoor furniture and barbecue
Centrally located in southern Andalucía, Los Chozones is a peaceful holiday park set in well-maintained garden grounds. Pitch up here to take full advantage of a relaxed rural location, the region's abundant summer sunshine and easy access to Costa del Sol hotspots like Málaga and Marbella.
One of Los Chozones' best features is its gorgeous outdoor pool, which is surrounded by palm trees, overlooked by sun loungers and which has far-reaching views over the local landscape. After a spell in and/or by the pool, you can wander over to the on-site barbecue, where there's plenty of scope for tasty alfresco cook-outs in the afternoon sun…
As this is an adults-only site, it's just that bit quieter here. If, however, after recharging by the pool you do fancy a more animated atmosphere, you're within half an hour's drive of the nightclubs, bars and buzzing restaurants of the coast. For other ideas about days out, speak to your friendly hosts, who are knowledgeable about the area and happy to share their top tips with guests.
Los Chozones is located a short distance from the town of Alhaurín el Grande. Several restaurants, food shops and bars can be reached within a 10-minute drive; there's also a petrol station a similar distance away.
Please note that this is a non-smoking site.

Local attractions
Alhaurín el Grande (15 minutes' drive) – which, despite its name, is not as 'grande' as all that – is a peaceful town that's well worth visiting. Learn about how olive oil is produced at Molino de la Paca, set out for walks in the surrounding Guadalhorce Valley or enjoy a game or two at Lauro Golf Resort, five minutes' drive outside town.
Next up, you could explore a whole array of coastal locations, from the bustling port city of Málaga (30 minutes) to the long sandy beaches of Fuengirola (30 minutes) or the glitzy clubs and bars of Marbella (35 minutes).
For a total contrast with the blue skies and golden sands of the coast, head up into the mountains to walk the famous Caminito del Rey walkway (35 minutes), an eight-kilometre route suspended 100 metres up in the air that connects different canyons and waterfalls (booking required). Or, for less extreme activities, aim in the direction of Ronda (an hour), a typically Andalusian town perched above a deep ravine with impressive medieval monuments, Arab baths and a handful of great museums.
