Get your kit off in Corsica… Naturist Camping Bagheera is a family-owned and family-run site with over 40 years' experience in the holiday business and with direct access to five kilometres of golden beach a few minutes' walk away. (There are beaut views from the site over the clear blue sea nearby: have a look at the bar/outdoor area in the site pics to see what you could be gazing upon over a loved-up dinner.) Windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing are among the watery activities than can be booked on site by the friendly team; diving is available on site and horse riding and cycling are easily found nearby. A nudist beach is about five kilometres away. The main feature of Bagheera is its modern bar-restaurant, a roomy space with covered and terraced seating, spectacular views (really, do see the pics…) and locally sourced dishes including seafood platters, fish and menus solely for les enfants. A food shop is open in high season too. Among the many other modern facilities are a gym, open from June to the end of September, a tennis court, a playground and a TV room. Or you could try the sauna, yoga and massage at the summer wellness centre, or just dive off into the clear waters from the site... Also on site are five well-kept five amenities blocks, all with free hot water, baby-changing facilities and washing machines. Naturist Camping Bagheera also has bike hire and free wifi.

Local attractions

You might just want to lounge around the bar-restaurant if you're staying at Naturist Camping Bagheera, but you'll find a good amount of active and cultural things to do once you're ready to get off base. Sailing, windsurfing and other activities can all be booked at the site reception. Spectacular Corsica is well known for its beaut landscapes, its blue seas and its golden beaches: about 1,000 kilometres of coast edge the island to explore, along with over 200 beaches, ancient monuments and traditional hill towns. To the west of Bagheera is the Corsica Regional Nature Park, covering about 40 per cent of the island and most of its mountainous inland. Also to the west of the site is the commune of Corte, the fourth biggest in Corsica and home to the Museum of Corsica. The island has several other museums to see, including one at Ajaccio devoted to Napoleon and the Bonaparte family (but of course); the Musée Fesch of fine arts, also in Ajaccio, and the Musée de Bastia, part of the Bastia commune to the site's north. Closer to home, a shopping mall is six kilometres from the site and a jetty for boat launches is 15 kilometres away.
