  • A quiet, coastal campsite just a 10 minute walk from Penbryn Beach
  • 'Bring your own' tent & motor home pitches & 'glamping' domes.
  • On-site showers & toilets. Also a fire pit & cedar barrel sauna.
Manorafon is a beautiful site, just a 10 minute walk to Penbryn National Trust beach & Ceredigion Coastal path. It's the perfect place to enjoy family days on the beach or walking the coastal path before returning to watch the beautiful Penbryn sunset. Dogs are welcome, but we ask that they be kept on a lead at all times & that owners are responsible for tidying-up after their dogs. We offer grass tent pitches as well as hard-standing, electric hook-up pitches for motor homes. The on-site shower & toilet block is just a short walk away and we also have a communal fire pit & cedar barrel sauna for guests to use. If you have family members or friends that prefer not to 'rough it' then we have a lovely selection of glamping Domes & also cabins on-site. There is no clubhouse, entertainment or shops on-site and for the enjoyment of all guests no music is to be played on-site as it's a quiet, rural area..

Local attractions

Penbryn National Trust Beach & the coastal path to Llangrannog, Tresaith & beyond are just a 10 minute walk away. On the way to the beach is a great little cafe called the Plwmp Tart - they serve fantastic freshly baked cakes & yummy food. Withing 10 minute drive are the beautiful coastal villages of Aberporth, Tresaith & Llangrannog - these all have great pubs & beaches. Llangrannog & Aberporth also have cafes & chippies. If you're feeling energetic you can walk the coastal path one way, have a bite to eat & enjoy a drink or two in the pub and then catch the Cardi Bach bus service back to Penbryn. During the Summer season the chances are you'll also spot dolphins from the shore - this area is famous for them & we often see them as we're taking a stroll on the beach. We are perfectly located on the Cardigan Bay coast and you'll be spoilt for choice for beautiful villages, beaches & towns to visit. New Quay is a 15 minute drive away & this is a really lovely harbour town with restaurants, cafes, shops, chippies & beaches - they also run brilliant dolphin spotting boat trips from here, as well as sea based watersports. Aberaeron is a 20 minute drive away - this is a really pretty harbour town with colourful Georgian houses, fabulous eating places & lovely local shops. Nearby is the National Trust Estate, Llanachaeron - well worth a visit. Cardigan is the nearest town for supermarkets & this is a 20 minute drive away. It's a vibrant market town with lots of independents shops, bakery, butchers, fantastic cafes & Cardigan Castle. The Pizza Tipi on Cardigan Quayside is a big hit, with freshly made pizzas & local beers in their cosy pub. Canoe trips along the River Teifi are really special & these can be booked through Heritage Canoes and combined with a visit to the Teifi Marshes Welsh Wildlife Centre. Further afield, yet still within an hours drives are towns like Aberystwyth and also the Pembrokeshire coastline with small towns like Newport, Tenby & St Davids.
