Liked: scenery and ease of access to surrounding areas
Disliked: upon arrival we were met with a dodgy road of potholes. We had emailed a few weeks before asking to be near toilets as husband going through cancer treatment..no reply and had to ask on arrival! x2 portacabins for showering and toilets,as which we had to send son to ask when the hand towels, loo rolls and soap will be filled! the pitches themselves are ridiculous,we camp a lot around UK and all have been flat, moffat manor are the worst by far! the facilities for washing dishes etc were out of action to which the work started earlier with diggers and the symphony of workmen swearing is not good when kids have just woken up. playpark out of action,we were not informed of the works and closures before we arrived..we felt the place had opened too early for season!

Liked: Beautiful estate with lovely walks. The tent pitches were in good condition and owners very helpful. Shower facilities were clean and good space.
Disliked: Would have been great to have a proper washing up station with hot water or a sink area. Was abit of a pain

Liked: Lovely club house , excellent staff, especially Marie who has an unenviable task of dealing with the transition of the touring pitches
Disliked: There's no hardstanding at the moment due in the summer i believe, all the grass pitches are sloping and difficult to level on. The shower block is unusable at the moment so there's two Porto cabins male /female each with only two showers and two toilets. The touring fields are a work in progress and have continous machinery on site. Also no wi-fi at all .

Liked: 1st off we liked the friendly staff that the site has to offer from the front of desk to the workers out grafting to get issues sorted so that everyone had a peaceful stay. Good location, well maintained site
Disliked: As per the site rules no dogs are to be off lead whilst on site. This was not policed to the fullest. either by staff not noticing or turning the blind eye.

Liked: Beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Price reasonable.
Disliked: The services were out of order. So they were installing an alternative portable arrangement as we arrived (toilet/shower unit). This very small portable toilet shower, had no soap in the whole time we were there 3 days. No real place to get ready. This also meant the facilities for dishwashing were out of action. The lovely staff offered to do our dishes for us but this actually felt harder work then just getting on with it at a water point. In addition, the play park was closed. We have two young children, and while we are not exploring, they love to be at the park so this was a real disappointment. We were not made aware of the issues until our arrival. The shop was not really a shop, it had very minimal items.
