The Pine trees on site were being cut down due to a possible fire risk

Liked: Loved the peacefulness of the site, had one of the best shower and toilet blocks I have ever seen. First time ever that I haven’t used my sink in the caravan to wash dishes. Plenty of hot water throughout.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: On arrival was welcoming staff meeting you helpful .place is kept clean. Dog walks to near nature area .large pitches level hard standing . Toilet/showers/washroom were immaculate .very high security
Disliked: No ammenaties in walking distance .pubs ,shops .The only pub was half hour walk but not dog friendly . Unfortunately due to circumstances they have had to take the forest down and was under new development.. Should be a good place when work is done a peaceful retreat

Liked: Clean and modern toilet and shower block with indoor washing area,
Disliked: Extensive destruction of the adjacent woodland which has left the site where the pitches are very open and exposed and is not visually attractive at the current time. Hopefully in five years time when new alternative boundary planting and landscaping has been carried out this will address the current issue.

Liked: Great site, quite compact but in a really nice setting. Facilities are of high standard and very well maintained / cleaned The forrest walk is no more, but the reasoning behind this makes sense. you can still walk through and up along the golf course so no bother.

Liked: Toilets & showers very clean
Disliked: Most of the trees have been cut down to make way for static caravans. The scenery was lovely & this was our 3rd stay but unfortunately may have been the last. As it just isn't the same the female warden has left & now they have a 70 yr old man in her place. Wasn't even greeted on arrival just as well our friends were already there to let us in the park. The radiators in the shower block were repeatedly turned off, I'm sorry but just because the park isn't very busy doesn't mean the few of us there should have to be cold when using the loo or showers! Especially when we've paid a fortune to stay & have to pay extra for electric. Also very unprofessional to hear the park owners son shouting & arguing with the elderly warden.

Liked: This is a lovely site with great walks. Bawtry is within walking distance. Nature reserve across the road is great for walking the dog. Friendly staff who met us and showed us where everything was. Everything well maintained and clean. Would recommend
Disliked: I would prefer to pay more for the pitch and the electric be included rather than electric top up system.
