Liked: Fantastic site. The site is so quiet and unspoilt. There is a mowed flat area for pitching in the middle of a large expanse of wild meadow. Facilities are basic, a tap and a toilet but perfect for our needs. There are firepits available but for us after a long day of cycling we decided to just sleep.

Liked: What can I say? This was truly an amazing place to stay the hosts were very easy going and welcoming let my girls get involved with feeding the pigs and chickens. The area it's self is picturesque with beautiful scenery for nice walks and bug hunting (my girl's favourite) I lived that it was a large in size but at full capacity there was only 6 tents and 1 camper van on another area made it very unique and great for the kids to run free and explore without the worry of a busy camp

Liked: What a great little hidden gem. I was freaking out about no shower, but we all managed ok. Lovely grounds and clean. A great place to let the kids run around. Kids loved the pigs and chickens. It was lovely to hear our kids laughing with their friends whilst climbing trees etc. They even made a little song "we love camping". Camp fire made it special. It was chilly, so make sure you bring along enough warm gear. We went for a small walk around the grounds. Nice pub locally which served tasty food. We would definitely go again.
Disliked: That we had to take rubbish away. Our cars were packed up and had to shove rubbish on people laps which made for a stinky and uncomfortable ride. And a bag of rubbish split in my car :(

Liked: The space and the wild camping feel. The owner was friendly and laid back and encouraged the children to attend her farm and look for eggs from the chickens. She had thought of little extras like fire pits per site and an honesty shop for essential bits. The toilet was kept clean each day. We had a fabulous time with friends and young children x

Liked: Wow, what a special place! This is a no frills campsite (but I mean that in the nicest way possible!) Just magical. As soon as we arrived I knew we’d booked the right place. We were greeted and shown around by Gina and then left to our own devices. The setting is just lovely and if you didn’t want to, you really could just spend a night or so within the campsite grounds. We did take a walk to The White Horse pub in the next village up which was lovely and Approx 30 min walk. Really nice to see a site which allows night fires (within the provided fire pit!) Sad to be home but we will be back I’m sure. If you want a back to nature and basics escape this place if for you!

Liked: This is a lovely and very well maintained campsite. It was the first camping experience for our 3-year-old son and he absolutely loved it! We appreciated the availability of fire pits as well as the conveniently prepared firewood available for purchase. Gina was such a welcoming host and my son was thrilled to have had the opportunity to feed the pigs and find an egg in the chicken coop. We'd love to come again some day.
Disliked: The portaloo isn't ideal, but makes sense for this kind of temporary campsite. At least it was pretty clean, with soap and foot pump for running water.
