Geodesic dome (hot tub)
Liked: Everything. Honestly, it's hard to put into words just how wonderful our experience of RedHill Holidays was. Nestled in the hills of Herefordshire (although it's technically Worcester postcode) is a secret paradise like no other. You "share" this paradise with 3 other pods but you wouldn't know it; the tagline for Redhills, which is proudly displayed on logos across the site is "It's just for you" and from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you genuinely feel that way. The domes and surrounding space that have been created are just fantastic. Each one feels completely enclosed from the outside world while being very much open to the beauty of the Malvern hills in the distance and countryside as far as the eye can see. When I say you have everything you need in the domes, I mean it. As avid campers, my wife and I brought a car full of stuff from towels to toiletries and none of it was needed. Not one thing. Everything you need to cook pretty much anything you could desire on the family sized gas bbq to towels, slippers and robes are provided to you. The hosts have really thought of everything adnd provided it. There is even a huge amount of board-games on hand in the kitchen area and a convieniently sized table on the decking to be able to play them! A game of Monopoly or two? why not! Let's be honest though, the thing that really draws you in is the full-sized "proper" hot-tub on the decking. Yes, that's right, this isn't a lazy spa, this is the real deal and well worth the money. We used the hot-tub throughout our stay and it never skipped a beat. It's about as private as you can get, too. The hot tub (and pretty much everywhere else for that matter) was spotless when we arrive, cleanliness is paramount here and James made a point of letting us know that the water was completely fresh and he even came to top-up the minerals that it needs to keep the water safe and give it a clean halfway through the stay, which was very much appreciated as the water can get a little grim after a few days of heavy use! My wife and I generally like to go to new places and have different experiences when life allows us to get away, but our experience at RedHills may well have changed that. I don't often leave reviews but it was just that good!
Disliked: Disliked? Nothing.
