Primitive grass RV campsite

Liked: Quiet campsite with fabulous views on this picturesque working farm. There are walking trails right from the pitch. There are 2 unisex showers with plenty of hot water. There are 2 toilets. There is a sheltered area to do your washing up. Perfect place to escape for a weekend of relaxation.

Disliked: A minor issue that can be sorted is that the one toilet and shower had poor lighting.

Primitive grass RV campsite

Liked: Cute little site with amazing views of Worcestershire and The Malvern. Fairly basic set-up, but with everything you needed (loos, shower, bins, washing up area). Good quiet place for a rest with walks around and into the NT estate next door. Lovely owners who left you alone but were super helpful if you needed anything. A very good price point too.

Disliked: It is a single and rather bumpy track to the campsite, with only a couple of passing places. It was never a problem but I was a bit nervous of meeting another camper when coming and going.

Primitive grass RV campsite

Liked: The signage around the site was clear and concise. We were greeted shortly after arrival by one of the owners, all of the amenities were explained and our questions answered about walking and others on site easily. The facilities were clean, well stocked and comfortable. The view from the campervan pitches (which is a single row so we all had the same view) was amazing. The landscape view was well placed for the campervans so that we could enjoy it from within the van. There are a small number of pitches overall, so the facilities do not become crowded and the pitches are well marked out for choosing at arrival. There is a small produce pod on site, for local produce (jam, vinegar, juice, oils etc) and bank transfer is an easy method of paying for the camping plus and produce from the pod.

Disliked: It would have been nice to have some suggested short walks, we were unsure of the proper routes through the farm/estate.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked: Incredible views, camping in a meadow, easy access to toilets and shower. Lovely walks straight from the site. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed an extra night.

Disliked: Only two toilets which was fine as the site wasn't full. Only a minor issue

Primitive grass RV campsite

Liked: Stunning site. Simple row of five van spaces. Mostly had the place to myself and the dog. Toilets and shower clean and great. The location is off the scale, the walks for the dog were amazing. Views over three counties, Common land and woods nearby to walk for miles with the dog. In the other direction a National Trust estate with a mediaeval Manor House, well worth the walk. Great farm shop with all sorts of goodies, fire pits for hire, everything you need. Check in was great, owners, check in on you but not intrusive, leave you to get on with it but there if you need. The perfect balance for me. A slice of heaven as far as the peace and quiet and scope for walking. Loads o stuff to do nearby just a short drive away if you don't want to walk. Loved it, as did my dog..

Local attractions

Craving a tasty tipple? Take a trip to the Little Pomona tasting room and cidery (10 minutes’ drive), head to The Hop Shed Brewery & Tap Room (15 minutes), or check out the spirits at the Chase Distillery (20 minutes). Astley Vineyards (half an hour), set in a secluded wildlife haven, is also worth a venture for its award-winning white wines. For other unusual days out, crack on towards a craft centre with more than 20 independent shops, a garden and antique complex, or a vintage furniture emporium, all less than five miles from the site. Switch things up with strolls around stately structures too: think the spectacular ruins, fab fountains and wild woodland at Witley Court and Gardens (25 minutes), as well as the neoclassical architecture of Berrington Hall (half an hour), set in a park created by the renowned landscaper Capability Brown.
