Old Football Field primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked: The football field pitch we stayed on was a basic field with nice views. It had a portaloo and a tap with drinking water next to it, all you really need for a basic camp
Disliked: The fact of cow pats everywhere but it's all part of the experience.

Liked: Peaceful scenic site. Short distance to village with choice of pubs. Friendly farmer/owner offered us a tow out if needed (it wasn't, but due to the recent rainfall, the ground was wet so we were grateful for his offer!). We will return!
Disliked: Nothing. Be aware there is little mobile signal which was not a problem to us.

Liked: Stopped for 2 nights on a motorhome. Lovely small quiet campsite with beautiful views. Has drinking water and an alsan point, electric hookups. Gorgeous walks on your doorstep, quiet roads for cycling. The owners were lovely and very helpful. This is a little gem we found and definitely will be coming back.

Liked: A lovely quiet site surrounded by stunning countryside. Peaceful and a must if you just want to go hiking and explore the lovely countryside like I did with my dog. Very easy to jump onto the Linestone way from this campsite. Easy to walk into Youlgreave where there some pubs and a nice bakery. Owner very helpful and I definitely would stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: As 1st time caravaners, the experience was made so much easier by James on site. From the moment he made contact to introduce himself, he advised us of the best pitch for newcomers. On arrival we were met by his dog who was so playful and friendly. Whilst we were on site, james regularly popped up to check everything was OK for us. The weather may not have been the greatest (but this IS England) but it didn't detract from the splendour and beauty of the sprawling countryside. The sounds of the cows, sheep and chickens were a pleasant change from speeding motorists. My wife and I would recommend the farm for anyone wishing to get away from civilisation and relaxing. Thanks again James.
