Primitive gravel and cement/asphalt campervan campsite (no awning)
Liked: This campsite is a little gem. We stayed on a non electric pitch that was off the main camping area. It was still close to the facilities and had an amazing view over all the fields. It was lovely and quiet and had a nice dog walking area in the field. The facilities are some of the best we've seen on a campsite. We ate at the local pub which was extremely good in the lovely little village nearby. I would advise to book if u want to go later it was getting very busy with bookings while we were there. Loved everything about this site, would highly recommend.
Disliked: We did struggle with WiFi.

Liked: Amazing facilities.. Lovely showers, clean toilets. A lounge with leather sofas and tables and chairs if you wanted to eat in. A kitchen with hobs, microwave, washing machine, airers. All heated. Also games and puzzles, maps and information. Lovely views. Walks from the site including to the pub.
Disliked: The weather!!!! Obviously not the farm's fault and it was so nice to be able to get inside into the warm.

Liked: We had a fantastic stay at Farditch. The size of the pitches are great and all hard standing so no mud to deal with! The toilets, showers and kitchen are all immaculate. The showers are “normal”, as in you turn it on and it stays in until you turn it off. Most sites I’ve stayed on are like swimming pool showers. Not here! Lots of space on the cubicle and a large shower. The kitchen has washing up liquid and tea and coffee making facilities, with tea and coffee available too, that’s a nice touch. The family lounge and games room is a lovely space with sofas, tables, tv and a selection of games. We were there with other family members so this gave us space to be together. Free wifi available, the closer to the building, the better the signal but useful to have free access. There is a dog walking field as well as a larger open field on the site. Also a lot of flat tarmac so kids with bikes and scooters can play. And very helpfully in the lounge, there are details of walks you can do from Farditch. Showing the distance, time etc, another lovely touch. We had a problem late one night when our electric cut out. Rebecca responded very quickly to resolve the issue, and given is was after 10.30pm, most other places may not have picked up the message until the next day. The site is about 8 minutes from Buxton and about 15 minutes from Bakewell, both easy to get to. There’s a little gem of a bookshop with cafe 5 minutes away, High Peak Bookshop, definitely worth a visit. Overall, we had a great stay at Farditch and would recommend for anyone to stay here! Thank you Farditch Team.
Disliked: There is some traffic noise and heavy lorries travelling down the road right next to the site. It didn’t both us but my Mother In Law wasn’t so happy.
