This is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed here we are a family of 4 with a 10 year old and 2 year old. This year we invited friends because loved it so much last year.
The pods are a brilliant size, they are warm and the beds are very comfy. I love that the area is pretty much contained and therefore you can relax knowing the children are safe playing. Everything is clean and thought has gone into leaving tea and coffee supplies. The bathrooms are a fantastic size so getting the kids ready with you is really quick and easy. The washing up facilities are great again making life easy. At night the central gazebo looks amazing and offers a welcomed bit of shelter from the the great British weather. It’s a very quick and easy drive to lots of tourist attractions so we make the most of seeing local areas when we stay.
We will return again no doubt because every stay has contributed to fantastic family memories.

There is nothing I really dislike other than the kids park could be better however this didn’t stop my kids playing there for long periods.
I would however make the following suggestions. I would personally love there to be an individual fridge, bedding, bbq and or fire pits these items would make this stay perfect for us because it would mean I had to pack less ha ha but would actually take the pods to that next level.

Small and friendly. Very relaxed. Lots of regulars there. Site tidy and pleasant.
Plenty of hot water for washing up.

Toilets and shower rooms dated and in need of modernisation. The floors and walls were in need of a good clean.

Dirty disgusting shower and toilets which you have to pay for ! . All the block needs knocking down and a modern unit providing . Cigarette butts all over our pitch . It was like an ashtray . Disgusting avoid !!!

Location was good

Over crowded and the pitch small, too many seasonal caravans which made the site look shabby and untidy.

The lady on reception and check in information were great.

This site is underinvested in and misrepresenting itself. The indoor play area is closed. The outdoor play area is one swing and some dilapidated mini building that need paint, repairs and a sweep to be fit for play. Not enough space to play ballgames. There are no buses on a weekend.
The motor home pitch we were in had an overhanging tree that brushed against the van in the wind.

Issue with bed which I reported but they could not fix.
Outdoor bins were not emptied all weekend resulting in rubbish all over the grass

Staff very friendly.
Clean site.
Peaceful to relax.

Needed to be updated for toilet facilities.
Maybe a few more toilets.

Setup was ok yurt was a good size.

Log fire was dangerous door would not shut plus was full of ash from previous people. Bin very dirty and found sweets all over the floor from previous people staying. The whole place just needs a bit of love and it would be great. Plus people staying on the site should get discount in the cafe and bird garden
