Good quality site really friendly owners, wood brought for metal barbeque fire pits and fresh meat products for barbeque. Beautiful area. good clean toilets and showers.

+huge pitches, we camped next to friends and felt we had plenty of freedom and privacy

The ethos - the eco-friendly and circular economy approach, the low density of campers, the wild flowers, the darkness (no lights!). Had one of the best night's sleep camping on a site. Don't usually experience this type of sleep away from wild camping. Liked the fact there was a pond (wish I'd brought my fishing gear!) and a barn with local food to purchase. Campsite owner was really helpful and even posted us our clothes when they got stuck in the washing machine.

Nothing really - one suggestion would be a kids play area would be a bonus.

Pitches were large and level.
Peaceful and quiet site.
Great firepit with lots of logs.
River for boys to play in.
Own picnic bench on each pitch.
Teenage boys loved the Pingpong table!
