Chycarne is a small family independent campsite

At Chycarne our small shop should not be confused with a supermarket but a camp shop. It is very clear given your comments that you require a much larger campsite such as a Park Dean/ Haven where these sites provide facilities
like games room for older children, entertainment and bars, restaurants etc but of course these sites charge a much higher price than the £400 + VAT especially in peak season for a family of 4 with electric/wifi. With the cost of living crisis we have seen our operational costs increase at alarming rates for commercial businesses which is not old news.
As for the footpath out of the site we have no control over this and any signage would be removed and we could face possible prosecution however for simplicity when leaving the campsite by its main gate turn left and this will take you to the beach, one road in and one road out.

We find your review somewhat confusing and is very unjust and does not reflect Chycarne at all.

The price is reflective of your personal circumstances
but paying £48 + VAT for a family of four with electric and WIFI included in peak season in Cornwall is value for money on a 4 pennant gold AA campsite.

At Chycarne we opt to remove the cost of factoring in the showers in the Tariff. It is equally advertised and is not hidden.
There are so many reasons for the small charge but the main reason is simply to prevent overstay in the showers. We all have been there when queuing for showers and the occupants are in the shower for 30 mins at a time. Second and a very important reason is to reduce the amount of excess water consumed. All water as to be processed and cleaned before it can be discharged. We all want to day clean rivers and safe clean bathing conditions at our local beach side locations, we take this matter very seriously at Chycarne and all our waste is processed in our state of the art waste water treatment plant Water is a precious commodity and at Chycarne all our fresh drinking and bathing water comes from our own fresh water spring
Water that is free from all chemicals.

Pitch K33 is a grass pitch that is on a very slight slope nothing that any season camper would find too difficult. Adjusting your sleeping arrangements to suit the lye of the land is taken for granted especially with the aid of camping air beds however we would be more than happy to re-pitch you if there is availability however I guess this only effected you on the one night out of four well done you.
Unfortunately for you during your stay you experienced some wet weather and certainly on the one day some seriously heavy rainfall. Thankfully water flows down hill in Cornwall even on a slight slope unlike not flat but level pitches that tend to hold water and can become flooded if the pitch suffers from poor drainage thankfully we do not suffer this problem at Chycarne

You make a point that is simply not an actual fact regarding the pictures of Chycarne holiday park, you are suggesting somehow that these pictures are not genuine views of the campsite. Well sorry but they are true real life un-photoshop pictures. I certainly would like to see what you see and I certainly would buy my glasses from specsavers, what I would further add is simply take your comments/ advice as bad advice
