Total schöne Farm, mit viel Platz und guter Ausstattung

Clean facilities. Communal lounge with wifi was great. For tenters that and the toasters, microwaves, kettles and a fridge must be a godsend and a place to cook out of the rain.

Loved the site, the shop, the ease of check in. The pitches were of a decent size - the main bathroom was warm and clean, which was maintained well. Loved the communal area, with a microwave etc and sitting area. Was only here 2 days during the storm, so didn’t get chance to fully appreciate the site due to poor weather.

Other peoples lack of hygiene, truly felt sorry for cleaning staff due to people’s poor toilet hygiene - the communal kitchen was also not looked after again other campers fault.
The staff tried hard to keep this site looking good, shame on some of those who visited. Would come again and would hope the campers that have no respect for facilities say at home.

Excellent site, beautiful views and the site owners were very helpful and attentive.

Beautifully maintained and located between Penrith, Keswick and Ullswater. Every morning I woke up to a view of Blencathra, clean air and peace and quiet. It really doesn't get better than that. The toilets and showers were spotless and the little shop on site has everything you could need in an emergency.
Twice a week a fresh pizza pop up take away comes to the site ... Delicious.
Lots of places to charge phones in the communal lounge.
Washing up area had loads of space and a plentiful supply of hot water.
This is a gem of a campsite and has glamping pods if you want something more substantial than canvas over your head.

Loved the location, beautiful ciews, ease to get to campsite, shower and bathrooms were nice, firepits available to rent, owners were very nice.

Great place to stay. Facilities exceptionally clean and value for money. On arrival had bad weather and reception was happy for us to set up first and gave us time to pay the bill rather than on arrival. Relaxed atmosphere and easy going staff.
Everything is there that's needed for a good camp and help along way.
Value for money!

Second time using the pods here. Such an amazing site. Facilities are clean and spot on. Staff are so friendly. Honestly we will be coming back here again x

Really nice well looked after site, Nice big pitch, communal area with fridges/freezers were a nice touch. Staff very pleasant and a nice little shop.
