Small, quiet campsite in a beautiful location. Spacious pitches each with their own picnic bench. Close to the village pub, shop and cafe with lots of footpaths leading from the village (and one going right through the campsite). The owners were friendly and helpful. Facilities are fine (larger sinks in the bathrooms and some hooks to hang your towel on would be good) and were always spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Lovely peaceful campsite, friendly owners, we had one of the bigger pitches. Well placed for exploring, the facilities are enough for the size of the campsite, we never had to wait for a loo or shower or to wash up! Picnic bench very helpful! The solar charger was a welcome surprise!

Really enjoyed our stay in the Bell Tent - will camping ever be the same again! Nice to have your own camp kitchen and WC; site showers were spacious and there was also an indoor washing up sink. The bed in the tent was made up with super cosy fleece bed linen, and a couple of extra blankets were supplied as well as an electric fire in case of cooler evenings. There was also a small table and 2 wicker chairs inside, which was a good place to sit if it was wet. Fortunately it only rained overnight on the final night, and the tent stayed dry inside despite the fairly heavy rain. The site as a whole was really nice - right beside the beck and quite small so nice and quiet. Caldbeck is a lovely village with a decent pub, garage/shop and a couple of other shops to browse in too. Local walks along the beck as well as easy access to the Northern Lakes. Would definitely book again (even in a normal tent!)

Quiet, laid back campsite in beautiful location next to a stream with good facilities. We stayed overnight to break up a trip to Scotland and have booked again for our return journey.
