The facilities are really good the whole site is very quite and peaceful, the owners of the site are extremely friendly and helpful with there knowledge of the area, definitely come back to this site without hesitation

Unable to fill our motor home with water, as the taps (x2) were not capable of taking a hose fitting of any kind.
The showers either did not work, or were so hot they burned your skin (a waste of 50p).
The lid to the chemical disposal point would not stay up, so I had to precariously hold it up with my foot whilst trying to empty my cassette.
Toilets and showers were not very clean.
The campsite was generally messy, with old farm equipment strewn at the margins.

We had an amazing time in Bird Rock Campsite. The owner was kind and friendly. Lovely place to spend time with family and friends. Stunning views and very quiet place. We climbed on to the mountain and my kids loves it. Definitely will recommend it.

Facilities is a bit old, and I think it needs a bit of renovation.

Absolutely loved the simplicity of this campsite. The camping field was so quiet for our stay, the river provided plenty of paddling opportunities and the toilets and showers and kitchen area were clean! Some people moaned about bugs but it’s a campsite…
We were also fortunate to catch the meteor shower and northern lights! It was stunning!!

For us the only downside was not realising the resident doggos were free roaming. We had a mishap with some of our rubbish and a few bits but that’s half our own issue. I know for future they are free roaming and we will be back with secure bags up high 🤣

The views are some of the best I’ve camped at, nice quiet site that we will definitely be returning to.
The owner is very friendly and runs a wonderful camp site.

Absolutely stunning views, the host was so accommodating, went out of her way to help.
Beautiful little stream for kids to play in, toilets basic but clean.
I felt poorly one night of our stay, the owner went out of her way to find someone with some piriton, then brought it to us. She went out of her way, and really didn’t have too.
Also borrowed us a longer electric hook up.
Great few nights away, felt like we were hidden in the Welsh hills. Beautiful place, but take everything you need as the shops are 20 minutes away in car.
Fantastic place to kick back and relax, surrounded by nature.

Shower blocks a little dated, but worked fine, and very powerful.

Very welcoming and friendly owners. Clean and tidy site with awesome views of surounding mountains. Great on site facilities like toilets, showers, wash and drying room.
