Absolutely beautiful campsite. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely views in all directions. Clean facilities. Very useful kitchen area. Disabled facilities available.

The only downside to my trip was the weather.

We've recently returned from a fantastic week at Bird Rock Campsite! Although the weather wasn't amazing the whole time, Ajay and Rhian went above and beyond to supply an extention lead for our electric hook up and even supplied extra pegs for us due to the dry ground being harder on the pitch we had. Nothing was too much trouble! The showers were hot and lasted longer than most for the 50p, the grounds are kept clean and tidy and the views are incredible. There is a short time during the day where work is being carried out on the farm, but it is a working farm and to be expected. It didn't cause any issues whatsoever and was especially lovely to see the sheep and cows in such lovely big fields. Special thanks to Ajay who is just such a wonderful, kind and friendly camp site manager, and to Rhian for checking on us after a long night of heavy rain. The kids loved playing in the stream and on the rope swing and it felt totally safe and child friendly. It was lovely to see kids riding their bikes and playing outside together. There is a little kitchen with a washing machine, microwave and kettles that came in really handy, and large sinks for washing up! If you want a really beautiful site that's quiet, friendly, clean and where you can gaze at the stars with the loveliest of staff, then we highly recommend Bird Rock Campsite. We are already talking about going back as soon as we can!

Friendly staff, lovely location with a gorgeous overlook of the countryside (a bit hard to get to in the campervan). Nice walks, great one if you're looking for that big sense of community.

Very big site for single tent camping and it was very busy, facilities are a bit bare bones but you get what you pay for

2nd visit to Bird Rock Campsite and fall in love with it more every time. Love everything about it, the peacefulness, star gazing on a night, the river flowing... it may be a basic site but the views are to die for.

Beautiful situation, superb views, perfectly located for mountains, coast and countryside. Plenty of space in the open camping areas. A friendly feel to the place. Would absolutely recommend - and we hope to go back.

As others have mentioned, facilities are basic, and fairly limited in numbers. Needn’t be an issue though: considering we were there on a hot, sunny August bank holiday weekend it was all perfectly manageable: we just timed our trips to shower, washing up etc to avoid the busier times. Fridges & freezers were jam-packed but we managed to freeze our freezer blocks and chill our wine! Everything was clean and fully functioning, so overall, no issues for us - and more than compensated by the beautiful views and location.

It's a nice area and lots of footpaths. Unfortunately the second day, they let kettle (bulls) into the field where the public footpath goes and those would not move to let us through. The sheeps were no problem.

From the top of the Bird's Rock you could see the ocean.

Away from the farm, it was quiet. There were very few cars on the main road.

Mobile signal was good at the camp.

It's a working farm with loud machinary running until late in the evening. Also the smell was a bit strong.

I wouldn't advise this place for enjoyable camp life.
