We liked the owners and the views the campsite came with. Easy access to toilets and showers. Plenty of space on the field we were in.

Nothing really to dislike other than it rained a little bit 🤣

Absolutely stunning views! It’s close to many beach’s with a short drive. Very cheap facilities on site such as showers, washing machine and kitchen appliances. When we arrived on site it was a friendly atmosphere and staff. As we had never experienced camping before this 1st time experience was amazing and we can’t wait to come back again. The site was very clean and well kept.

The area is lovely, we was right next to the river which was very peaceful of an evening. Beautiful scenery anywhere you looked, amazing if you bring a dog easy for them to have a run around.

The ground wasn’t the softest as when your trying to put tent pegs in the ground most of it was hard or concrete where we was so it was difficult to pitch the tent in the area we had. Toilet/shower block was a bit of a walk from where we was by the river which is the back of the campsite. Have to drive about 15-20 minutes into a town if you needed a shop or anything like food. No signal on the campsite which some people might enjoy.

We loved the area we were situated. In the valley great views. Shower/toilets available with fridge storage if needed.

Quite far from anywhere decent to visit do have to drive everywhere. No walking routes from the camp other than that everything great. WiFi does not reach to the far extent of the properly. We couldn’t link to it from where we were pitched.

Pitch was big and open and the electric hookup was strong. Place was beautifully remote nestled in between the mountains tywyn was about 7 miles away

There was nothing I disliked

How quiet it was and how peaceful it was. The views were amazing.

Rocky ground where I was told to pitch my tent. Also didn’t get told there was WiFi until I saw it on the last day on a notice board in the kitchen area.

The spectacular view, the river was lovely to be by and the area was incredible. It was also very good value for money. The wifi by the little kitchen area was very strong which was useful for a daily check of messages. The wildlife was beyond incredible. We had a very lovely time, but the negatives did mean that was slightly ruined.

The pitch, if you are in a tent, I would say stay away from this site or bring a hammer and a lot of patience. There was about an inch of ground and then solid rock at all of the riverside pitches that were available to us. This leads me to the next point which is more personal preference- there are a lot of caravans in this site, which are primarily vacant over the week, this was unfortunate because they took up a lot of the good pitches. Lastly, our biggest dislike about this campsite is the apparent lack of care of the site, there was rubbish on the site when we arrived where we wanted to pitch, this coupled with our difficulties pitching made for a less than pleasant welcome. The grass was mowed while we were there which does show care, however there was a lot of dog poo that hadn't been picked up from the adjacent farmer's dog. There were also escaped sheep which were not Rhian's fault but did add to the general faeces problem. It was a pity to have to give 3/5 stars as Rhian (owner) and Ajay (campsite manager) seemed very lovely. We took 1 star off for difficulty pitching, and 1 star off for the rubbish/dog poo. It is a brilliant site if you know what you are getting yourself in for, but we would not have chosen this place if the pitching difficulties were clearly explained beforehand.

This is our 3rd time goin an we love it ,it's just so quiet an relaxing will be deffo goin back

Gorgeous location, picturesque scenery, no phone signal!

I stumbled upon this site, as a single parent looking for a break with two children and a dog. I found the site suitable for our needs. Our stay was quiet, my children had the river to themselves, the facilities are standard and just what you need.

We brought enough food to last our stay as I wasn't sure of the area. Other campsite members were friendly and helpful with directions to local family friendly walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The relaxed rural setting, although on a working farm. Stunning backdrop of “bird rock”, and Cadair Idris in distance. My son enjoyed playing in the river too!
