Clean and friendly site. Good leisure amenities and toilet blocks regularly cleaned showers nice and warm and clean the kids enjoyed the amenities too really nice site

No basketball court just tennis. Close to quite a busy road
Gym is aged 16 plus

Very clean and modern toilet/ shower block, always had toilet paper and soap in the dispensers.
Electric hookups close to the pitches and a decent space in between each pitch.
Check in was super easy, it was a drive through and then follow a buggy to the pitch.
The site was very tidy and most of it was well maintained.
We loved the slip and slide and went on that several times and the free mini golf we did nearly everyday.

We really enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Bar onsite very old and run down. Outside pool had things floating in it and was discoloured everytime we walked past which led to us not using it.
Washing machine facilities expensive and clothes still smelt worn (perfume smell still lingering after the wash).

The one site shop no food for basic camping no bread almost every day with the closes shop been half an hour drive each way,

Staff avoided things like it was no their job such as been shown to our pitch we drove around a wind breaker that was in the middle of the road rather than stop and pick it up and move it

So close the main road where you hear what can only be described as the local yobs racing up and down it at 2am

The lay out of the site. Lots of trees and bushes. Lovely and calm environment. Outdoor pool was lovely! We had a great afternoon in there… fairly easy to book.

The soft play was good too!

We didn’t use the cafe but prices looked good and always plenty of staff around to ask.

The toilets and showers were always clean and the shower water was lovely and warm!

A little noise from the road but nothing major.
Our tent wasn’t on a perfectly flat pitch (which I completely understand for cornwall!) so it made an interesting nights sleep until we realised we should adjust the direction in which we lay our heads and feet haha!

The site placement was great. No issues. Good location, and very central to get about. Also easy to find. Staff were friendly upon arrival. And shown to our pitch very quickly. We was on a grass pitch with caravan. Fairly flat. Although plenty of pitches were not. Some poorly maintained, ground level wise! The swimming pools are free, although very small and basic. Tiny amusement room with games for kids. Pool table awkward to play on due to being to close to wall. Games not very up to date but were ok, bar was good. Entertainment was music and live performance was good too. Also very surprised by the electric feed. Managed to run 3kw all 10 days without issue! Also good size to walk our large husky about. That's about it!

Ok. This is were it gets bad for our stay. A lot of pitches are uneven and have very large dips and undulations in them. They need to be levelled drastically. Luckly our pitch wasn't too bad and we was not in a tent. Like our friends were. We were based in the middle area from the front side, just the other side of the road and fence of the central wooden toilet block. Showers in this block are awful. Tiny, discoloured mouldy and in desperate need of replacing. The floors in any of the shower units felt like they was going to fall through at any moment. Naff all room to take or put on clothes in the cubicles without getting wet from the shower curtains and over head dripping shower heads, there are no benches or seats to sit or put bags on in the cubicles. Mainly due to the very small size of them. At Most times, there were no cleaning mops or anything in the toilet/shower area to clean before and after use. The 1 time I did see a mop and bucket, the water was disgusting. I found another shower block toward the indoor swiming pool, but again, the floor was disgusting. Cubicles were filthy too. Mop and bucket left with dirty water. Doors wouldn't close because units were in that poor state, that the unit walls or compartments if that's what u want to call them, were more or less falling apart and moving about all over the place. The shower doors opened but jammed due to the movement in the cubicle structure. Again the floors felt they were giving out. Honestly these two blocks were awful. They worked, yeah, but jezz come on guys! Truly bad. There is one block though that has obviously been installed recently, I did have a look and they looked in far better condition. But they were at the front end of the park. Also. The fact that the family bathroom in the wooden block does not lock! Our friend had someone open the door after they locked it from inside, while having a shower. The bath taps don't work. Had to fill bath from the shower. And the water wasn't hot at all. Again, no floor cleaning equipment so floor and bath were disgusting. Also charged 10 pounds for the key!
Didn't like the fact that you had to pay for wifi. £5 for 1 day. 3 devices. At 3 Mbps! And that's IF you can get on it, neither of our groups could access it . The condition of the tarmac roads on site are full of pot holes. The price for the washing and dryers are way over priced and not enough of them for the size of the site. Also the fact that slides are advertised but again. £50 plus cost of wet suite if you want them, I think you got an hour or something. That's for 2 kids 2 adults. Just thought it was over priced for what it was. The bar area was good, if you could find a seat. Hardly any available inside. The outdoors area would of been great if there was a cover over head of sorts. This was evening and wet. Again. Watch the floor. Lots of trip hazards in the middle from poorly maintained broken boards outside on the wooden decking. The games in the games room are expensive for what they are. We didn't even look at the laser quest! They say dog walking areas. Great! But not enclosed. Expect to pay over price for milk and bread at the on site shop. Your better off going to Esso in Fraddon. Its 10 mins away and your still save money. We paid a lot of money to stay at this site. Around 650 pounds plus 50 for the dog. And we didn't really think you get enough for the money. Amenities not well kept and are in poor state. The roads on site are in poor condition and everything over priced for very little out put. We won't, or our friends be recommending or staying here again. Also. One last thing. The road in to Newquay gets very busy. Just a pre warning. Traffic jams are very easily formed. We are not being site snobs by any means. It's just our honest opinion. We have paid far less and had more return and better conditions.

Staff were brilliant from arrival. We arrived 3 hours before we where allowed on and was told that as soon as our pitches become clear we could go on was about 30min. The pitches were massive and kids had loads of space to play. The indoor pool is basic but a good and clean. We had water and electrics 2 metres from our tent. If you want a good base to go then this is the place. Good clean site

Thought the pub could do with upgrading but other then that nothing

So much to do. Swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) Segway, slip and slide, crazy golf.

Originally I was concerned that there was no clubhouse or daily evening entertainment, just a pub that isn't connected to the site, but the kids didn't miss it at all, they loved making their own fun in the evenings

Everything on site, the staff were amazing very helpful, the shop was priced great meaning you didn’t need to go off site to get the basics.

The pool area was brilliant the cafe at the pool was great cold River cider on tap.

The wash stations for washing pots could do with a spruce up that’s all.

The location, the playground, the Minigolf, many drinking water options

Facilities were dirty, pitch size was quite small, it was extremely exposed to wind so be prepared to travel with a very good tent we only managed to book the pool once in four days it was quite disappointing
