The wild life , the location of the site.

The river side pitches were all.for permanently sited caravans. The "nearest pitch as requested by us to the toilets and only water point, were so far for the 1st time ever we drove to it. The toilets are not regularly cleaned or restocked very dissapointing. There amount of toilets to pitches ratio is ridiculous. In the summer good luck. The toilets waste was locked over a bank Holiday and not very clean either.

Great facilities, nice and clean. River running beside the park with easy access for a kayak.

Nice little cafe on site, great for a bacon roll and ice cream after a trip on the river.

The weather.
There had been excellent communication and we were greeted by a very friendly lady but it was downhill from there.
Flat pitch.

What a disappointment. Our first trip out in our half converted van and the site was a real let down.

The toilet block was far too small to accommodate the number of people staying - thank goodness it was less than half full. I cannot imagine what it would be like full season. The cubicles were filthy; toilet seats broken; cobwebs that must have been there since last summer; no equipment to wipe the floors after showering - so the next person got a messy room; no toilet paper in the majority of cubicles; shower drains blocked, black and slimy, and out of their holes.
A fellow camper had tried to complain to be told they had been having difficulty getting maintenance staff.
We had booked so that we could use the fishing facilities but had no luck finding how and where to do this and when we researched we found out that it wasn't even fishing season - something the site had neglected to tell us.
There is building going on so the roads in were broken and dirty - which I knew - but they should really have though about this and maybe reduced the price as it really was an unsightly mess.
Needless to say this is not somewhere we shall be returning to.

Picturesque and charming site with plenty of space. Lovely little cafe by the mill stream. Toilet and shower block clean. Easy access to A1. Great for wild water swimming, canoeing. Nene Valley railway.

Excellent shower facilities- great base for walks. Lovely on site cafe. Friendly staff. Great location for paddlers and wild swimmers. Fantastic seeing Thomas the Tank Engine.

Stunning location. Beautiful site. Good facilities - toilet and shower set-up. Staff incredibly helpful, lovely, friendly and attentive. Lovely 10 mins walk to the Angel Inn in the village down the road (fantastic, quirky pub!). We look forwerd to returning at some point. Great pitch for motorhome.

Only a small thing but could've done with benches and hooks in the shower areas as opposed to a single chair - not enough room for bags, towels, clothes, toiletries etc when also getting ready with children.

Beautiful countryside, river and friendliness of welcoming receptionist and the cafe. Lovely walks around although a very wet weekend.

Ablution facilities and areas appeared like a building site.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Very polite and the greeting when we arrived was lovely. Thank you so much for all your help while we stayed on your complex. Dog walking park was lovely dog and they enjoyed their stay too.
Views of the residential area in the evening was beautiful too.
Shower area were modern and large size.
