The site was clean and quiet

The fact that there was no bedding. The photographs show bedding but all we were told to bring were towels.

This site was excellent. The toilets and showers were very clean and well maintained, the shower was hot and powerful. The gravel road and hardstanding were flat and level allowing a good night sleep. The bar offered a great range of drinks and we loved sitting by the wood burner. Wayside is really worth a visit, the 360 degree views were gorgeous. We shall definately revisit.
The owners are so nice.

Clean, well maintained site. Shower blocks were clean. The barn has a bar opened several evenings a week. We stayed on pitch nunber 6 which allowed our 8 meter long motorhome to park with ample space for a vehicle too if you have one. Barrier secured access. Reception office with small shop for supplies. Free wifi. Wonderful hosts!

Great little camp site. Quiet, but with a nice little bar on site. Good facilities and very friendly staff. Super for exploring this part of Shropshire. Fully recommend.

Warm welcome, excellent all round facilities. Well maintained site with good level pitches. Ideally located for a short walk into the local village or a 10 min drive to Craven Arms. Dog friendly site with a small area to exercise your dog off lead. Dogs also welcome in the bar on site. Overall, a great location for our first trip of the season in our campervan.

A very well kept site with friendly staff, from the lady who booked us in, to the barman later that evening. We were also give a pack of information about the local area, which gave us some great ideas. The facilities were clean (although see dislikes for a couple of niggles).

The bar was lovely, decorated very well, lots of space, a log burner and a good options of drinks (again a couple of niggles so see the dislikes).

For the facilities, the lights are turned on via a sensor when you first walk in, however these went off during my shower which meant I had to shower in the dark for a while before some came to use the loo - there needs to be a way for the lights to be turned back on whilst you're in the shower.

A sign needs to be put up outside the toilets to tell people not to take their dogs in with them. On separate occasions both my husband and I went into the toilets and a couple has taken their dog in with them (same couple) - this is NOT appropriate, and there are hooks outside to put the lead and keep them outside.

Again a sign needs to be put up outside the pot washing facilities to tell people not to take their dogs in with them. This is a small area and not everyone feels comfortable with dogs around them.

We were in the bar on the first night, having a lovely drink and looking at the leaflets of the local area, there was another couple enjoying a drink with a small well behaved dog - then another couple came in with two large dogs, one of which was whimpering the whole time. Neither of the owners telling the dog to be quiet! We were going to have another drink, but this was intolerable so finished our drinks quick and left - it ruined our drink!
