Facilities were brilliant. Lovely little bar with a snooker table. Shower blocks lovely and clean with a family cubicle which is always a bonus with children. Pitches are a good size and tidy

The showers were very hot
No pipe on the water filling area so water went everywhere, not major problems but just to make a note
Maybe some basket meals at the bar would go down well.

Very warm welcome to this lovely site in a fabulous location between Craven Arms and Clun.
The site is immaculately organised with fantastic hot showers!
The views and especially at sunset were lovely.

Not the fault of the owners...seems internet coverage in this part of Shropshire is patchy.

Location is beautiful, shepherds hut is gorgeous and has everything you would need inside, we would recommend for a night or weekend away.

The only thing we didn’t like was how far the toilets are away from shepherds hut area if there was a toilet/wash room near to shepherds huts for all to use would be much more convenient.

Friendly and very helpful staff, particularly when I got myself in a bit of a pickle!
The facilities were spotless and warm. Well laid out level pitches.

The bar in the barn was open on Wednesday & Friday - I was there on thursday! :)
Unfortunately there are no easy access paths for dog walking but I understand that this is being looked into. However, I would not stay for longer than a one night stop over because of this.

Really lovely, friendly site, facilities were really clean and fit for purpose, small shop on site with very basic items but big shops within 5 mins walk or drive, if you’re daft like me and don’t bring anything! Bar on site also very nice, reasonably priced with a pool table and also bar staff was very friendly with highlighting the multiple things to do around the area. For the price and everything included we’d definitely return and would recommend it to anyone!

Not a dislike but the only thing that would make it even better would be the option of food in the bar which I feel they’re missing a trick on! But am told they will be starting it, which I’d definitely like to give a go!

Great location in a lovely area, good wifi and facilities

Exceptionally rude female owner. Asked to move to a hard standing pitch due to weather. She advised they are a wedding venue also and due to weather will cancel Easter bookings if refuse to move to hard standing as didnt want to ruin the grass (fair enough) bit odd to advise when wed just arrived. Given pitch number and leaflet and sent on our way. The gravel road where all pitches lead off is too narrow to park the caravan on without going on the grass to the side and really churn it up. Husband (towed 8 years and previous hgv driver) deemed best to pull onto grass to reverse back. Site was a bit boggy. Female owner came running out shouting I told you not to go on the grass you don't listen!!! Blah blah blah, my husband replied only way to get onto pitch to which she advised she wouldn't of been able to do it. She told us not to move and husband will get a tractor to pull us out to stop damaging the grass further commented majorly inconvenient as he was on a course (again not our problem) kept saying she wasn't this ratty while continuing to shout. Then got miffed as we hadn't apologised for ruining her grass. Again this is a CAMPSITE and no opportunity while she was shouting at us. She advised we will ruin the wedding photos for a wedding in april??? All this was occurring in pouring down rain after a 2 1/2 hour journey down and with a crying 5 1/2 month baby in my arms!!!!!!! The Husband and son were great pulled out and parked up and commented very little damage to grass. We put this down to the bad weather and obviously she was feeling stressed about Easter and potential for her cancelling bookings. We get it no one wants to intentionally cause damage but with the horrible weather it was inevitable a little grass would get boggy and damaged. However as we stayed for 4 nights we saw many a people come and go and the damage others did to the grass, particularly the ones swinging onto the pitch from the gravel path tearing up the corner plots, removing brick work from borders and chewing huge chunks 3 times size of ours of grass from the middle of field ( 2 vans over) and NOTHING SAID! We genuinely thought she may have apologised once calmed down but nope. Very disappointed to have been spoken to in that manner, maybe as we are a young couple she thought she could talk down to us but we are the paying customer on a campsite not a wedding venue. In future if you don't want people going on the grass to park you should follow the van up and help to park (like on many a campsites we've been too) may of helped deter the situation. Real shame as did like the site and would of returned.
