The tent pitches are so big, we were close to the toilets and showers, showers were hot! Washing up facilities were very helpful! We all enjoyed the activities so much, we tried new things and got quite competitive! We had so much space around our tents to play games of badminton and football. The grass was nice and short so made putting tents up easy. The staff were friendly and happy to help. Loved that we could use a fire pit free of charge. The range of activities was good as was the entertainment for the children.

Toilet rolls could do with being changed more often as they were empty alot of the time.
Sign post for places like the lake to go kayaking were not anywhere and the map wasn't very clear when in the middle of the forest.
Opening times for the bar would be helpful as we found it closed on Sunday with no staff member able to give a reason as to why.

Tent pitches are very spacious, we were lucky enough to stay close to the toilet and shower facilities. The choice of activities were great, there was no rush in completing them and we were able to go back and do them again. Plenty of space for us as a family to do games with the kids I.e badminton, football.

I would say some of the locations of the activities could be better signposted such as the kayaking and raft building.
Not sure how often the toilets get checked and cleaned, the toilet block we were near was mostly out of toilet paper for the duration of our stay.
There was nowhere to go and grab food on the Sunday, we were leaving on the Sunday however stayed to do the afternoon activities but had to leave as nowhere was open to go for food.

Toilets for pitches on D are so far away ridiculous, when u finally got to them they were not clean showers or toilets and no toilet paper. Stood over 30mins for swimming pool only to let certain number in, why not come and say that before rather than let people stand there.

Big pitches and great location for days out nearby

Went in one block and every toilet was full of sh*t
I think they need to knock them down and install new facilities
Very loud some night due inconsiderate people
11pm is too later for people to pipe down especially if you have young children

Great site, lots of space. The kids were able to partipate in so many activities. Really enjoyed our stay.

The only compliant from the kids was that raft building was on the list but was not running.
And that laser tag should be on every day! :)

The pitches are a really generous size and the ground is firm but easy to peg. They keep the grass nice and short. The facilities were perfect for us, very clean. We absolutely loved the entertainment and activities provided. The staff are super friendly and any time I’ve encountered a problem (this year it was my tent pegs getting stuck in the ground, another year I had completely forgotten my tent poles) they are always reassuring and happy to help. It’s a beautiful place to stay and there is a supermarket just a 6 minute drive away. Other activities not too far away but it would be easy to spend the whole holiday here and not get bored. We saw Red Kites while we were here along with lots of other wildlife. There is WiFi at the pub and around that central area but obviously the whole site is 250 acres so you’re not going to get it at your pitch but we found that network coverage was pretty good.

The pub does food but no desserts. Not the end of the world, but it’s nice to have a bit of cake or something after a meal.

Very well run place kids loved all the activities plenty open space to explore had a great 3 days here shower block was nice and clean only note on the down side was electric is quite expensive and only 6amp needs addressing but all in all great stay
