Our phone system is an answering machine, so we do ask guests to leave a message so we can return the call — apologies if this wasn’t clear.

It also sounds like there may have been a technical issue with our booking system if your reservation didn’t come through on our end. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience this caused on arrival and will investigate what went wrong there.

Your visit coincided with our annual lawn mower racing weekend, which does bring in more guests than usual. While it's a fun and unique event, we completely understand that the increased numbers can impact the overall experience for some guests. We're currently reviewing both our pitch quality and facilities as part of a wider site improvement plan, so your comments are very helpful.

We’re sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t as peaceful as you’d hoped. Your visit coincided with our annual lawn mower racing weekend, which brings in a larger number of guests, including the racers and their families who were camping on-site — so it was definitely busier than usual. We completely understand that this may not have suited everyone, particularly those looking for a quieter couples’ break.

We appreciate you raising a few points that could help future guests. The balloon club is a special event that only visits once a year, but we’ll look into how we can better communicate that in advance for those who may be lighter sleepers!

We're also reviewing how our listing appears on PitchUp to make it clearer that while the campsite is dog friendly, the farm park has different rules — thank you for flagging that.
