On site farm great for the little ones, we did not visit as our children are a little older however, we did hear good reviews from fellow campers who had visited.
Не понравилось: Advertised as no noise on site after 8pm, on a sunny evening I would never expect for this to be the case and I feel 10/11pm to be fair however one party playing music and being loud until well after midnight unchallenged spoilt the atmosphere.
We arrived back to our tent on day 2 to find a family had been allowed to pitch two full sized tents in the one pitch site and park their 2 cars either side leaving them incredibly close to our tent and practically driving over our guy ropes.
Both of which really did spoil our stay.
Add to that only 2 shower cubicles and 3 toilets to serve the whole camp and the washing up areas having no sort or roof/shelter left is very disappointed with our stay and we have no plans to ever return sadly.

We struggled as a family of 5 to take down tent and pack up for 1000hrs but the site was very patient, we were around 30-40 mins late. We had a lovely enjoyable stay here and happy we booked.
Не понравилось: The actual Thornton Hall attraction appeared quite pricey with 3 children, even with the generous discount as campers there. When my husband asked lady on reception, there was the entry fee, then some activities inside cost extra ontop. We were worried this would creep up with 3 kids who'd want to do everything so we went along to Skipton castle instead and we could take our dog there too. Looked a great attraction though but it was difficult that the kids could see a play ground ahead of them that they weren't able to use. It would be great to have a small play area for them that they could use as part of the campsite. Still a lovely family friendly site though.
