Everything, the staff were incredible and so accommodating, the toilet and shower facilities are hands down the best I have ever seen. There’s a communal fridge, fire pits to use (weather permitting of course) they have a bar on a weekend we missed this but we loved our stay THAT MUCH we are coming back next week. The owners are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, happy to answer any questions and just happy to have a general conversation with you. The fields are good sizes and spread out well with plenty of space for everyone. Honestly despite the rain we had the best time camping and like I say, we’re back next week! Really pleased. The views are lovely too! The toilets and shower facilities are always clean and are checked regularly by staff.

this place is AMAZING! staff very lovely and very professional. the campsite is huge and well kept, and the view is unbelievably good! it's definitely the best we ever been. They have a lovely pop up bar where the do bbq and serve drink and the atmosfere is wonderful, they also sell wood for campfire which is a plus!
Toilette block absolutely spot on, very clean as the staff were cleaning it every hour.
Seriously this place must to be visited, it's very easy to find and i strongly suggest to stay here.

The view was amazing and the staff were lovely. Toilets were clean in the day but bin could do with being push open and emptied more often.

The pitches werent level. The proximity to the next pitch wasn't great, the field is very big but everyone is crammed in so you hear everyone's every noise. There was music playing from the onsite bar, it wasn't loud but it was that kind of dnb you go to a festival for that you can feel if you can't hear it. Other people were playing competing music making it very loud and hard to read a book and listen to birds or get to sleep. There werent enough showers but the ones there were clean. We ended up leaving early as couldn't hack the noise.

The views, people so helpful, the facilities clean and well stocked, love the touch if a ladies toilet, with the little extras in case caught out with mother nature. If in campervan take wheel levellers some pitches abut uneven. But views make up for it.

This campsite is great for space and the views are wonderful!! We arrived mid week (Wednesday) and it was lovely and peaceful. No road noise. Very friendly staff!! And great to meet baby willow. There are free fire pits available and logs for sale at reception. Which was great in the evening - felt like a real outdoor experience!
On Friday the camp filled and the atmosphere was brilliant with lots of kids playing in the huge field. At 4pm the bar opened and we had a cold beer with some great tunes blasting!
My only one thing i would say needs slight improvement is the number of toilets available on weekends. The new toilet block had 4 toilets and 4 showers and they were super clean. But on a weekend it doesn’t really facilitate a lot of people and there were a few queues for the toilets. However, please do not deter from booking this campsite as it’s a little gem!
Wirksworth is a great village with fantastic pubs and a lovely French restaurant.
The walking in the area is brilliant - up to black rocks / alport heights and Middleton top!

Loads of space. Toilets clean! Great bar area in outside tent. Very friendly staff. Welcoming! Perfect location for getting out in the Peaks!
