Great campsite with an amazing view the staff were friendly and the facilities always clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning.

Location was fantastic!
Hosts were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
Toilets were clean and loo roll and hand wash replenished regularly.
Pop up bar and food van at the weekend.
Fire pits available for use and wood for sale on site.
Staff were informative and attentive throughout our stay.
Will definitely return.

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend up at the Racecourse, this was our first time taking our new to us Trailer Tent out and as expected we were missing something 😂. I rang and spoke to Baz and within minutes he was up with one for us to borrow.

Everything we have wanted or needed is never too much trouble.

On the first night we ate from the Burger Van and the burgers were absolutely lovely.

On the second night surprisingly our favourite fish and chip van arrived (Smiths) so we had those too.

In the bar there were lots of variety of drinks and many snacks.
There is also a ping pong table and a box full of other games and puzzles for the kids so we had a great few hours in there whilst listening to music.

There is also an outdoor sandpit and large football/games field so plenty to keep the kids entertained.

The facilities were kept to a great standard and always being cleaned/inspected/updated the ladies toilet was stocked with any emergency supplies you might need complimentary.

The views are breathtaking and all in all we had the best first experience we could have possibly had, in fact I think we may have been well and truly spoilt as I doubt any other sites will live up to these standards.

Nothing to dislike about the site, the only downside of I had to be picky was the tight lane up to the campsite with a trailer. This is only because it was my first time driving on such a road with the trailer, however it was easy enough and luckily we didn’t meet anyone coming the other way. So not a dislike more of a worry.
