Site was easy to find and peaceful

Campsite itself was run down , electric didn’t work properly, showers were pretty gross and when I went to check weren’t interested and for £32 a night really not worth it

Great location to attend event at three countries show ground.
The food in the pub is amazing!

The showers and toilets are in need of a upgrade

We liked it wasn't a busy site which was good close to the hills .

The facilities were disgusting, rubbish piled up on the way to the toilets , showers really smells no locks working, the toilets themselves were awful really dirty,sanitary bins over flowing just disgusting in there. Washing up area just as bad stinks ,

It wasn’t an overly busy site. Easy to find the pub itself. Had all the basic essentials (including non essential electricity!!)

Pub wasn’t open which was a shame.
Our electric hook up was being used but they allowed us to share with an extension (camping one) lead they had.
Couldn’t get hold of owners for clarity any confirmation re pitches on arrival.
General maintenance is needed.

Wasn’t explained very well on site, £10 stay is right on the car park and not set back, noise from trucks and cars was awful. Bits of litter around which wasn’t nice too see.

If you are looking for a relaxing spot for camping this is definitely the right place for you.
As a couple we were looking for a place that is not too big or too busy.
Great location and lots to do in the area.

We went and had food in the restaurant on Saturday and it was INCREDIBLE!!! Traditional Indian cuisine done to perfection which makes this spot even more amazing. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Would be great if the pub/restaurant was open every day but that didn’t bother us at all. Instead we had a bbq or went and tried other local places.

Honestly it is a fantastic place to stay. Very relaxing and just simple.

Not a dislike but a suggestion-the shower facilities could do with an upgrade and maybe but more looking after. I mean everything was clean and usable but a bit dated but again it did not bother us at all. Hot water in the shower that’s the main thing.

Quiet site. Plenty of room. Fresh air. Nice walk nearby.
