The staff were very friendly and getting our pitch was super easy. The facilites were excellent, looked to be new and very clean. And the location is brilliant.

A very very minor qualm, but the bbq situation was a bit confusing.

Excellent location & facilities. Owners work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Toilets spotless. Small shop essentials were a nice touch with an honesty box. Communal fridge & freezer was a great addition in the heat. Will visit again soon. Quiet drink in the pub was nice too. Good excellent.

Everything, exceptionally clean showers, toilets, wash area. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful pies served on site. Fridges on site to store food.

A microwave in the wash up area would be a great idea.

It is the grounds of the Swan Inn. The pub was lovely, as we're the owners. They could not do enough to help you. Would highly recommend

This was our first ever overnight camping trip! and what a fabulous experience. This was my wife's first ever camping trip and I wanted to make sure it was a great experience for us both. Having reviewed the various sites available on the excellent Pitch Up web site, I opted for the Swan Inn. The site is well appointed with fabulous facilities to include a general shared kitchen with a fridge and a separate fridge freezer. The kitchen facility houses a sink, work surfaces and a camp shop with an excellent range of products. There is an honesty box to pay for the items. The toilet and wash block are absolutely first class with 3 separate shower/toilet rooms. They are clean and warm which I imagine would be much appreciated on a cold evening. The camp site is located at the back of the pub and has excellent access via a solid road surface. This leads to the various pitches to include areas of short grass with large flat tent pitches (8m x 8m) and hard standing camper van pitches with running water and electricity. The site is surrounded by farmland and woodland and we enjoyed a fabulous sunset looking out towards the woodland and distant hills. On arrival were greeted by the hosts who were friendly and welcoming. The site is extremely relaxed and chilled. We had forgotten our bottle opener and the hosts were happy to provide us with one. Unfortunately the pub was not open on the during our stay on the Wednesday evening, however we were doing our own cooking so no worries. After a bottle of white, salmon and prawns stir fry cooked on the Trangia and a Gu pot we were very happy campers!! Woke up to bird song and sunshine and enjoyed a bacon and egg butty. Thank you for a cracking overnight camp in a beautiful location.

Adults only small site with large pitches. The facilities were among the best we have seen. The site was very quiet.

We were really disappointed that the pub that the site is on was closed, it only opens Thursday to Sunday but it doesn't say that anywhere. You can't really walk anywhere from there as there are no paths and the roads are quite busy.

Facilities were excellent as was the pin food.

Lovely small site with new facilities. Well thought-out with campers in mind - we liked the added touches like provision of fridge space, small camp shop and picnic benches.
The site was full when we visited for the May bank holiday but the number of campers for the space was sensible and not overcrowded. Good level grassy pitches, plenty of water taps and clean bathrooms.
We liked that the site was adults only and dog friendly - the atmosphere was quiet and the owners friendly.
Good location for Hay-on-Wye which can be reached in approx 15 mins by car.

The pub has been newly renovated with a smart outside patio with a covered tented area as well. We would have loved to spend more time (and money!) at the pub but the opening hours are a bit patchy. We had planned to have dinner there on Sunday night, but discovered too late that it closed at 6pm. There's a definite opportunity for the owners to make more of their captive audience of campers by opening longer and providing more food and drink options.
Not a criticism of the site itself, but it's worth knowing that there's not much to the village of Letton other than the pub - it's directly on a busy road that you can't really walk along safely to get anywhere on foot, so a car is essential to get to shops or other places to eat.
We would still return and recommend this campsite.
