Fantastic location and the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Facilities were what you needed incl. laundry, kettle and microwave - should you need it. Place to clean dogs/bikes. There's also a small shop with bits and bobs that you may have forgotten.
Great to be able to feed some of the animals. My son enjoyed walking around to see the different birds and animals. Also a playpark with a trampoline, which my son enjoyed.
We definitely plan to return and enjoy some more downtime, as well as exploring some of the walks on the doorstep.

Shame you need to pay £5 as an adult just for a day visit. No more day visits now as we did come regularly when it was donations. 2.50 a person is more reasonable. When my daughter goes now with 5 children and 2 adults it too costly for them.

Lovely little remote site away from everything surrounded by variety of animals and very laid back camp site. Kids or any animal lover would love it as so many different ones. Nice little fishing pond too. Little shop selling essentials and a little bar. Plus dog friendly.

Only thing was we stayed on none electric and was greeted by a lot of young kids who would run our caravan. We don’t mind kids as have them ourselves but we also have 2 dogs. We had balls and frisbees hit the caravan so next time would most definitely stay on the electric field rather than none electric. Not the owners fault but down to parents.

would be nice even if for a small donation that when the animals are fed the kids and teenagers can help.

We had a campervan and tent for family of 4 adults 2 children , We pitched together and it was large enough for us all leaving a space between us for sharing , big site next to the woods, rescue animals and all facilities that you would need , Small cafe/bar open at set times which we didn't use but looked cheap and basic which is what you need , play area for the children far enough away from the campsite so not to disturb others , loved having fire pit going small charge to borrow one which we did , loved listening to the Donkeys at feeding time

The sand very hard not to get dirty and terrible to clean not really a dislike more annoying ! No fault of the owners its just the land they are on ,

Great customer service. Peaceful place to enjoy and relax.

Some minor things as difficulties to make perfect water in shower, was to hot. But maybe it was just for that moment and only one of them. So not so big deal.

Plenty of good facilities, great cafe / snack bar too. Beautiful scenery and great place to watch the sunset.

Such a wonderful place! Was our first proper time out in our caravan and the wife picked such a beautiful place to stay!

The area is beautiful, nice and quiet. Lovely setting to just relax. All the animals for our some to see all day, he absolutely loved it! He’s only 19month old but it’s been the best time for him!

He’s never had so much fun and looked so dirty 😂 we will definitely be back again! Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Told us everything we needed to know as soon as we got there and where everything was.

Amazing site, everyone was just so friendly and helpful. The bar/cafe/shop is reasonably priced, the owners can’t do enough to help you and Alyssa was a superstar at informal animal tours. The facilities are perfectly adequate and well thought out. It’s a lovely quiet site (human-wise, not counting the animal noises, obviously!) and we’re looking forward to visiting again soon.
