It’s not far from motorway.
Pubs are a short walk away.

On serviced pitches 4 and 6 the grey water drainage point is above level of the pitch and the base of our vans grey water tank as they are all shared between 2 pitches, the next one is some distance downhill. They could do with separate drainage point at or below level of those pitches and it would be much less faff.

Absolutely everything was great, was nervous after reading reviews but staff brilliant cleanliness perfect, not a thing to complain about

The lodge itself was modern, nicely decorated and fairly clean throughout. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay. The fairy lights around the lodge gave it that extra sparkle. Bathroom was a lovely size and the shower was great. Sofa was extremely comfy. Cutlery and utensils provided came in handy. It was extremely warm and cosy with it being easy to adjust the heating to your liking.

After looking forward to this stay for my partners birthday we were slightly underwhelmed and disappointed. On arrival when checking in we were literally handed a key and told it was the second cabin up. There was no other words exchanged or anything of the sort which I found slightly odd as usually we are wished a nice stay and given some information etc. I requested birthday banners to be added to the lodge which was confirmed on the booking confirmation email, and they were nowhere to be seen. I know this isn’t the end of the world but when a request is made and confirmed by the owners it’s slightly disappointing as I wanted it to be special for my partners birthday. When we entered the lodge there was no welcome pack, instructions or anything. We were not aware the lodge was located directly on a road so the cars zooming past constantly wasn’t the most relaxing stay we have had. We also didn’t realise there wasn’t any WiFi when booking the TV was advertised as Netflix showing, but without WiFi this obviously doesn’t work. There are barely any lights outside which made it extremely difficult to drive and reverse park come the evening time, with so many trees and the bbq it was touch and go whether there was going to be a collision and that wasn’t due to my driving skills. It was also lacking lighting to the hot tub of an evening a few solar lights would’ve made it perfect as we genuinely couldn’t see where we were going and was like Bambi on ice with the flooring being wet from the rain on the decking.

Absolutely had a nice time at the cabin so quiet and relaxing cute lil rooms lovely hot tub really enjoyed it they even put a birthday banner up for my partner

Nothink wot so ever

The site has some great views, the toilets and showers were very clean, they even have a hair dryer which was useful in the cold weather. The walk to the local village was nice with two pubs within a 15 minute walk. There are takeaways that deliver on foodhub. We will definitely be returning in the warmer months. There are cabins available for those who don’t like caravan, each has its own hot tub, and there is a large park for the children

The road around the site could be sorted out and there were a few ruts, the hard standing pitch could also do with a bit of tcl. It was a bit muddy however this could be expected as we are in the winter season.

Spacious pitch and a quiet site. Friendly and helpful staff. It's a great location to some local pubs. We'll definitely return.

Nice clean site, well set out, toilet and showers clean and tidy. Quiet at night.2 pubs and shopping in village about 15 minutes walk. Will be booking again next year.

Would benefit from a few lights on the path to light way to toilet block late at night

I didn't enjoy stay!

Was very cold
Should be called a pod as very small not a lodge
Very minimal in regard to equipment inside
Was mould on inside and flooring all damaged

The place was lovely

It snowed heavy and no one cleared the steps to the ladies shower block and my husband slipped cause there toilet block was a large slope that was the only problem so was disappointed
