Attractive large open field bordered by mature broadleaf trees and with a wildflower meadow in the centre, lots of space for everybody to pitch and Shetland ponies in the neighbouring field to say hello to. Toilets were plenty clean enough even though it had been raining, and site was dog friendly. You cross a little ford to get to the site which was great for letting the dog have a swim, and there are some woodland walks to explore on the top of the hill overlooking the site. I briefly spoke to the owners who seemed lovely. All in all, a great little site for our halfway point travelling to Glastonbury Festival from our home in Scotland.

Not a dislike as managed just fine, but a hot water tap would be good by the loos. Perhaps it could be heated by a solar panel on the roof of the toilet block?

Loved everything about this site. Simple check-in procedure, easy to find, great field, clean facilities, friendly owners, lovely and quiet and great surroundings.

Came to test out a new tent and have a trial camp with the dog. Both went very well, and I will be back in the future.

Great field, lots of space, great toilets and the fire basket was a nice touch.

Not much, you can hear a bit of road noise but not a problem at all.

Loved the location - easy to get to using public transport since we had no car. Beautiful area - the owner very kindly recommended some walks for us and even gave us detailed instructions on the route, loved it. Pub nearby (gentle and flst 10min walk, not muddy path) serving food. Aso it was not too far from the town with more restaurants and takeaways if needed (buses running roughly every hour from the pub, there's a taxi rank in town and it costs about £5 from the centre). Beautiful and flat field to stay at so we felt like we had our own corner, completely private from other campers, nice and quiet. Toilets very well maintained, cold water not an issue for us and we were prewarned. Great to have the option to rent a fire pit (none for us due to the rain however). Lovely to see horses in the next field. Not too much sheep noise either phew. I could hear the road but it was more like distant gentle white noise rather than sounds of cars so it's not at all an issue. Bird song was our main soundtrack actually.
Owner was lovely and super helpful, very easy to contact as well. The site has very good phone signal for those who need it.

Lovely site with good ground, very spacious, pretty and secluded. Lots of wildlife, great walks from the site and short drives away. Well kept site with clean and plentiful facilities. Nice vibe with fellow campers. Me and my pupper had a great weekend.

The toilet facilities were amazing and the owners were very helpful. We'd actually made a mistake with our booking and they were really accommodating. They even stepped in to help with our tent when the rain started to get it up quicker!

My only small dislike was the noise of the motorway during the night. It didn't make a huge difference overall though.

Really friendly and helpful owners, clean facilities and a beautiful spot in a handy location!
