The campsite is idyllic, we had a lovely time. The showers and loos were spotlessly clean, the water was hot and plentiful. The field for pitches was well drained and soft with flat bits leading to a comfortable nights sleep. The barn was dry and the facilities were great, especially the wifi. The couple running the site were very friendly and helpful, we would highly recommend staying here!

Hill to climb up from flattest part of the field, good for exercise but not so great for a midnight bathroom trip!

Perfect little campsite with everything you need. Owners were friendly and it’s right on the trails for Ingleborough and Whernside.

Good amenities. Shower block clean and nice hot water. All areas very clean. Owners very approachable and helpful. Nice options for breakfast and the 24hr coffee dispenser was excellent.
Ideal for 3 peaks - we did Whernside and was perfect position to walk from.

Showers were red hot and high pressure the family who run the farm are wonderful people and helped me when I had a stove problem and the lent me theirs for free. We can't fault the place, the safety plug lockers were great and the setting was such a joy to wake up too, we will definitely be back sometime in the future

The showers, some of the best I've used at a campsite. There was space to get changed and your clothes do they don't get wet in the showers too. The toilets, showers and washing up area were clean and in good condition.

There was a barn (indoor space) that had vending machines for snacks and hot drinks. The barn had information on the local area, spares for you to buy if you'd forgotten anything, and WiFi. The WiFi was a great addition as our phone networks had no signal.

There was a snack bar, we didn't use this but it had a good selection you could buy from. You can pre order breakfast and lunch if you don't want to cook.

The maintenance of the campsite itself was good, and there was ample parking. It's a small campsite so you never have to walk far to get to anything.

The location is perfect if you're doing the three peaks challenge. The views at the campsite are beautiful. You don't have to walk far to get views of the Ribblehead viaduct.

The signposts for the campsite could do with being bigger, they're hard to see from a moving car.

If you've got sore legs and have chosen to pitch your tent at the bottom of the hill, it's a sore walk to the toilets and showers 😂

Fabulous location on the Y3P route. Facilities are scrupulously clean and well maintained. Barn has Wi-Fi and vending machines. Have previously ordered a packed lunch which was great value.

Lovely campsite with great views, clean facilities and fab breakfasts. The barn is really useful in wet weather to cook and rest in. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our visit. Fab base for walking around Whernside and Ingleborough. Great fish and chips in Settle, good pub grub at the Station in Ribblehead

Friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely, lovely, location: look one way and there's Whernside; look the other way and there's Ingleborough. The barn is a great facility with vending machines and wi-fi: I made a lot of use of this as the weather was vile whilst I was there.
Lovely to see all of the Y3P groups and to share experiences with fellow walkers.

As well as the Y3P, there are plenty of other good walks. The little back road from Chapel-le-dale to Ingleton (Oddie's Lane) is a gem.

Superb value for money.
