Although it was a sunny weekend in August and the tap room was heaving, there were only 2 tents in the river camping field and 2 tents by the showers. There are lots of compost toilets dotted around so we had our own private toilet. The compost toilets weren’t smelly.
My children enjoyed swimming and paddling in the river. There were canoes there that the staff said campers do borrow sometimes.
Most people were camping in the Apple orchard, but there was still plenty of space left. No one was camping in the damson orchard.
Ps, although the tap room was heaving, there were tables left and plenty of people serving at the bar.
There was live music both nights.

We had a choice of pizzas or burgers the first night and both were excellent. There were waffles both nights.
It was pizzas, brisket or nachos the second night.
Hot showers for free.

No O2 phone signal, but there was unsecured Wi-Fi at the tap room.
Wasps! I think we must have pitched up near a wasps nest and they were obsessed with the tent!

Lovely setting, we arrived and was given the option to pitch up wherever we liked so we did - in a lovely quiet spot amongst the apple trees. There was a small hut nearby containing the outside toilet and a sink behind for your washing up needs, all we needed - perfect! It was a lovely stay and even though it hadn't got electric hook ups, it meant we could enjoy the precious family time. Together instead (no electric would have usually turned us away, but reading description and the reviews made us want to stay!)
Was also really lovely to see when we arrived on my birthday that it was. Sunny Saturday evening with a singer on for entertainment and wood fire pizzas and very cheap drinks for all to be had - delicious i must add really made the place welcome,all noise was then calmed down in time for bed. The option to enjoy an campfire was very appealing too, we definitely will bw coming back for both camping and just to the place for date nights on our own too!

A little untidy and unfinished but not too bad

Our second time as we loved it so much the first time we came two weeks ago.
So spacious to pitch a tent up!peaceful,beers are great.
Beautiful staying right by the river.
Will be back again real soon!

We chanced upon Orleton Farm and I’m so glad we booked. There were loads of different places to camp, even with the wilder ones by the river having multiple toilets and urinals. Only stayed one night so didn’t use the shower block. There’s a fishing pond we walked around with the dog and watched a family fishing.
The was live music and food stalls at the brewery on Saturday night, dog and children running around enjoying the sun and generally a really nice vibe.
Breakfast burritos available if you book before 9pm the night before

This is our new favourite place, really peaceful and not herded into set pitches, basically park where you like and the bar and band are superb. Will be back soon for a few beers.

Beautiful location. Being able to pitch right by lake and the best river for our dog to swim in!
Great atmosphere and bar.

Nothing to dislike, more helpful to have…. Signage on taps to say if drinking water or not.

Lots of space, beautiful surroundings, get into the river easily, having the tap house there for some social time and food was great. Best campsite!

Compost toilets are great, but the horse box flushing toilets are even better, some more of these on each areas would be great :)

Brilliant stay, loved the freedom to pitch wherever. We’re only 20 mins away from this place but feel like we’ve had a proper weekend away. Bar and pizzas were great, and staff very helpful, offering water for dogs etc. We liked the space (we have a reactive small dog) and she has never had so much off lead freedom when camping, which meant she was knackered by evening 😊. You can pitch up close to the bar etc or be far away with faintest sound of live music. Loved it all
