Beautiful natural surroundings and close to the brewery tap room. You can also pitch where you like. The staff were super efficient and friendly. Great beer and pizza.

Unfortunately, the camping facilities were the poorest I have ever experienced and not dissimilar to what you would get at a large scale music festival. A new shower block was under construction but looks far too small for a site of that size in my opinion. The temporary toilet/shower block (a converted lorry/trailor) was poor as was the outdoor washing up area.
The compost toilets were not fit for purpose and not enough porto loos spread across the site. The only hot water was as at the taproom.
Despite being able to choose your pitch, the damson orchard which is the nicest was reserved for a private party connected to the sites owners. However, on Saturday night loud music from the private party was still being played at 3:15am, so it was a good job we pitched far away.

Drinks abit expensive and getting out the river in kayaks was a bit of a messy nightmare.

We didn't really know where the main facilities were (and forgot to ask on check in) a map or few pointers to places would have been helpful. We were only there one night so didn't get chance to ask.

Don't book if you are looking for tranquil camping.

What an awesome find. We received a very warm welcome from Tom & it continued throughout the weekend, with the rest of the team. Fantastic pitch overlooking the lake, nice a spacious. The fact it has its own brewery on site is amazing and the wood fired pizzas were tops. We had live music each night & there was just a great vibe flowing all weekend.

Used to be a proper shower and loo block on site at the top of the hill. That had now gone and there are only compost toilets.

The bar, the pizza area, the chilled vibe, the rustic charm and beautiful scenery. Our friends with kids catch-up was fantastic at this location.
Also, the owners were super helpful with recommendations and being helpful.

It is basic, but has a wonderful, rustic charm that was perfect for us.

Our second visit as we loved the location, brewery and on-site pizza restaurant. Also love the wildness of the location in that you can park up freely and enjoy a fire if you like.

Really disliked the lack of loos and washing facilities.
Last year there was a large loo/shower block on the top of the lower field which has now gone. Not sure if those on the lower fields were supposed to take the really long walk back to the brewery to wash up/use the facilities ? Only close available loo for the 2 lower, fairly large fields, is 1 compost loo with one cold tap and no washing up facilités. Loo wasn’t cleaned that I could see while we were there for 2 nights. Main loo for the gents near to the bar was also closed. Couldn’t even find the advertised shower! We witnessed a group of about 6 males walking off into the woods with loo roll.
Beautiful sight just sort the loo situation out! Definitely didn’t feel as nice as last year and in my opinion has declined considerably.

Atmosphere of the pub/bar was amazing, great food and great beer
