Excellent site, well serviced, good size pitches, easy to find, good road connections, lovely facilities well maintained and cleaned daily, lovely welcome and very friendly

We liked everything about this place:
Really friendly and helpful staff (even though we were much later than we’d planned, they couldn’t do enough for us, then gave us helpful tips about the campsite and area).
Nice sized pitch.
Book-sharing hut.
Immaculate toilets and warm showers.
Lovely pub (King’s Arms - pizzas are fab) and a Spar within 10 minute walk.

We would definitely stay here again :-)

Not much not to like about this place.
If there was anything that would make this place even better it might be to make the pitches slightly more spaced out, but very minor x

Showers and toilets were spotless always kept clean radio in background nice touch

Tent pitches were moved to end of site in front of dog walking field and not the pictures that was on Pitchup.
Electric hookup wasn't near tent pitch so had to use an extension lead which warden wasn't too happy about but had no other choice even though next tent had one lol.
On pitchup states laundrette but when got there wasn't one and as we had been travelling need to use one to wash clothes so had to find one in town.

The site is very clean and well kept.
The toilets and showers were always spotless.
The wardens were very friendly and helpful, and really maintain the site well.
Very quiet and peaceful too.

Not being able to have any electricity refunded if not used.

Very unhelpful people, I couldn't drive as I had an injured foot and called giving plenty of notice to see if we could change our stay to another date but they wouldn't accommodate us, all they wanted was enough notice of us not coming so that they could rent this pitch out again, will never book again

Fantastic pitch right near the facilities. These were clean and tidy and the site the same - beautifully looked after. The site is extremely secure with barriers operated by fobs only. They have a dedicated field to walk the dog which overlooked the fields Fantastic hosts/staff who told us a bit about the local walks around and we took full advantage and wandered down the canal to the local pub The Boat Inn - great food. Best bit…the sunsets looking over the landscape. A site full of like-minded people. Thanks for a great stay!!

Very clean and friendly site. The camp wardens were very helpful and kept it spotless. Toilet and shower block was to a good standard with plenty of free hot water for the showers.

Glad they put us on the bottom field so there was plenty of room if we were on the advertised camping spot at the side of the toilet block it would have been a bit different reveiw as it was too small even for 3 small tents.
