Lovely place, friendly staff, safe for kids, they love that they can play and paddle loved the rope swing.

Only 2 male and 2 female toilets with 1 shower in female block and same in men's, dissapointing that the water was freezing cold all day in shower block, and wash up area( very difficult to clean pots pans in cold water) . Also the shower head was broken in women's so not the best to get showered.

The beautiful grounds takes your breath away, the lovely stream that runs through it was fantastic for my son of 5. All the staff on site was very friendly and helpful. I’ll be definitely coming back.

Beautiful site in a great location. Loads for kids to do. Laid back vibe and everyone goes quiet at respectable time.

Toilet block small and quick to get dirty from muddy footprints. Otherwise a fabulous site

Site - perfect for children, loved the shallow river and playground.

Basic amenities albeit we were warned. Fine for a night or two. Fine at the start of the day, but footfall/weather made the limited toilets/shower mucky over the course of the day

Great camping for family and friends

Nature is beautiful there but big potencial is lost,reception is in bad condition, truly bad

We came 1h before we should and we heard from lady we need to pay £10 extra if we want to make our tent if not we need to stay outside so we stuck in front of the main gate witch was sad. Unfortunately we won't return to this place next year and we been there 4years in a row..

It’s so idyllic and quaint. Not just rows of tents in a field. We loved playing hide and seek in the grounds. Had the weather been warmer we would have been in the river with fishing nets etc.

Nothing, we’ll be going again.

The site is beautiful, especially in the morning before everyone wakes up and the field next door has cows and every so often you hear them, it's very nice.
The staff are really nice and very helpful.

The downside are the facilities. The disabled toilet is the best, it's in a brick building with a good door, the toilet/ shower block really could do with a makeover. There is no shelf in the shower which would be very handy if you wanted to take bits you wanted to keep off the floor, there are some hooks so let's hope everything can be hung on them. The shower was nice but unfortunately there is only 1 so gets very dirty very quickly and I can't imagine the staff can keep up keeping it clean which when I went in the morning, it wasn't.
