As usual beautiful such a stunning site clean and tidy

The lack of respect from other site users on the 11 pm quiet time.

Everything, especially the beautiful location, stream and cave bar.

Nothing, it was all great.

A beautiful site, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating when we had a little issue with our first allocated pitch. We moved to another non-electric pitch and the very helpful team managed to get us a hook up which we really appreciated. The site itself was beautiful and the kids absolutely loved it. We felt it was safe enough to let the kids go off and play by themselves. Also, a few tents had music on in the evening but all were respectful and turned it down and off by 11pm which we appreciated. Cave bar was cute too. Ideally located to visit Clumber Park and Sundown Adventureland.

As others have mentioned, the showers and toilets all could do with updating but always had toilet roll and soap which is a bonus! Also the play equipment could do with a little bit of TLC, not that the kids cared at all, and can't wait to visit again.

One of the best campsites we have stayed at, perfect for families. Lovely people running it and very chilled out. We didn’t leave the site at all for 4 days we didn’t feel like we had to. It was super busy when we went so
You can excuse how awful the toilets got. Highly recommend this site.

Our second visit here and the site is even prettier at this time of year ( our last visit was October) and is amazing for kids, the shallow river keeps them well occupied and the site feels very safe for them to run around with tree swings and a trampoline. The cave bar was great fun with a pub quiz and we enjoyed the duck race too! Toilets always clean with plenty of paper and super friendly staff. Washing up cabins with fridge and freezer. Everything you could need plus a beautiful backdrop with a cute little water wheel and shady trees. Fantastic i'm sure we will be back!

Having to go home!!

This is a beautiful site on the banks of the River Poulter. The River is shallow and great to paddle in. There's a rope swing and zip line over the River. There's a Ford through the river- some pitches have to be accessed via the Ford. Play facilities are available eg trampoline. Friendly chickens wander around the site.
Walking distance to Starbucks

Pot washing- one sink, water is usually cold (managed tepid once). There is an old fridge freezer in the same area but the fridge is warm.
Wash block- ladies and gents, each containing 2 wc, 2 basins and one shower. Shower wasn't clean, water varied between cold and warm.
Both the pots wash up and wash block are housed in shacks with steel steps.

Setting was lovley, we went as a group and could be pitched next to each other with communication and the kids loved the park and the stream when the weather was hot

Just one shower per gender could have been problematic but was ok.

Very pretty campsite with the river running through. We went on a busy bank holiday and it was very popular with young families, it was a lovely atmosphere to be in. The staff were all friendly and helpful. This was our first camping trip with a new puppy and he absolutely loved it!
The facilities are basic but perfectly good, there was a bit of a queue for the showers as only 1 per gender but that’s expected on a busy weekend.
We would definitely recommend for families as all the kids were having a great time playing in the river
