Loved it!
Friendly and relaxed welcome, lovely campsite.
Good sized tent pitches (10m x 10m), not overcrowded even at the weekends.
Toilets, washing up area and showers always clean and tidy.
Resident Peacock, peahen, chickens and ducks, all friendly.
Cannot wait to return.
We were on a two week camping holiday, with electric hook up.

02 mobile internet signal poor in Hornsea.

Lovely family run campsite with plenty of room for the pitch.

Lovely, clean site. Owners are lovely. It was so nice being made to feel welcome by the peacock!

Site was good for tents pitches were a good size, no issues with electric hookup and location was great.

Toilet facilities need work, only one toilet for women, and only 2 showers on site, floors were always wet in the showers as no drainage water had to be brushed outside via the door which ment floor outside the showers was always wet so mud was constantly walked into the showers, also the tap in the only womens toilet didn't alway work.

The location was really good and the big space in the middle of pitches was brilliant for kids to play. There was also beautiful peacocks wondering around which were lovely to watch and the kids loved them. The washing up area was good!

There was only 1 woman's toilet which shocked us when we arrived. The womens had a hand dryer in but the paper towel dispenser was always empty. My daughter has sensory issues and hated the hand dryer on in such a small space as it was too loud for her so the offer of paper towels in the dispensor would of been good for us. The mens had 2 toilets with 2 urinals which was slightly better but the mens toilets were always filthy. There is also 2 showers with toilets in them. The showers themselves were powerful and hot but the shower rooms had a few safety concerns! The stone floor is constantly wet and the step from the shower on to the wet stone floor is quite high. My 5 year old slipped as she was trying to get down the step (I was holding her hand but she still went flying) leaving her with the biggest and angriest bruise ive ever seen on her thigh and one under her arm (and lots of tears from us both) There is zero drainage in the shower rooms, just a gap under the door and a squidgy to push the water out. The toilets and showers massively let the site down and are really disappointing. Could also do with more bins on site as they always seemed to be overflowing. There is also no WiFi which wasn't a problem for us but may be for others.

Had an amazing time at Northorpe,
So relaxing and chilled out. Great walk to Atwick that isn't to far away, also lovely walk to Hornsea which I thoroughly recommend.
Skirlington Sunday Market and boot sale is a must.
The couple who own Northorpe campsite are so accommodating. Gave us extension lead for our electric hook up.
The site was very clean, impressed with the recycling.
Showers, toilet blocks and outdoor washing up facilities were really well looked after and checked on by staff regularly. We even had a visit from a couple of wandering peacocks!
Absolutely loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat
