Nice quiet site, not too far from the beach. Coded gate so only people staying at the site can enter.

Tent pitches are small and cramped, only 1 female toilet unless you use the 2 that are in the shower rooms.

Absolutely loved our recent stay! Such a warm welcome on arrival & the pitch we were given was lovely & private! The campsite is beautifully kept & the facilities are perfect! Our dogs felt very welcome too! We would highly recommend staying here & we can't wait to book again!

Great stay, I was a bit worried after reading to last few reviews but needn't have, staff friendly and helpful, other campers were friendly and gave us tips on where to go for a walk. 2 male toilets 1 female but the 2 showers have loos in them so never had to wait for one for too long. Pick shower 1 as it's the warmest. Great spot to use as a base to explore other villages and Easy to walk to the village or the beach. Dog friendly too

Small, relaxed and friendly camping field, all amenities very close to the field. Clean toilets and showers. Convenient for the small, cute town of hornsea, within walking distance as bonus!

The weather is what made this site enjoyable

The site was small not an issue. But it felt like a very clicky site as part of the grounds was an area that has tourers sited there for the season. They didn't seem to like us to be on there turf. Also there is a caravan and camping club site sign up but apparently they haven't been in that club for 5 years. There was also a lovely small gated area which we thought was for letting dogs off. Only to be told it was private, but there was no sign for this. The electric hook up was only 6amp so needs updating

The complete lack of respect by the other families on the campsite to moderate their language and behaviour. This is supposed to be a family campsite. Loud music and shouting/swearing till past midnight.
Absolutely dreadful experience for myself and my 11 year old.
We couldn’t wait to pack up and go home the next morning.

Quiet, good location with good links to Hornsea and surrounding areas. Pretty easy going when it came to pitch location, was able to pick our own pitch.

Toilets and showers clean. Always working on the upkeep of the site.

Site is mainly aimed at tourers with internal showers and toilets. Facilities had two showers, one that was permanently cold. Only one standalone female toilet, two male plus urinals. There was an extra toilet in each shower room. It looks like the site is setup for up to 40 pitches, 20 of which are grass standing. Had there been 20 tents or Campervans in, there could have been quite a queue for both showers and toilets. Luckily it wasn’t busy when we went so wasn’t much of an issue for us.

Some pitches were quite uneven too.

Nice site , straight forward good hosts.
Decent facilities, field for kids to play old fashioned games not computers for a change .
