The pitches are fairly close together but we use windbreakers for privacy so no issues

We stayed for 4 nights and would happily have stayed for more. Its lovely little place, not too many people.
I loved the strict 10.30pm no noise rule. It meant you could sleep in silence.
The owner was SO polite and helpful! She showed us to our pitch and where all the facilities were.
The showers are no frills, but they are clean and hot!
We had pizza on Thursday, freshly made to order, on site.
Washing area is clean and so is the drying area.
Everything is easy to find and looked new.
I don't remember the lady's name in the reception, but she was so helpful! Nothing was too much. I can see why it's a popular place!

We were on pitch 4, and we did have some difficulties with hammering in the pegs. The grass near the road was softer and much easier to peg.
The grass near the hook up was very rocky and very difficult to peg.
I would 100% recommend getting steel pegs for pitching here.

There isn't a ton for children to do, although it is child friendly, I would say it's more suited for older children.. but even though I have a child myself, I quite liked it. Less noise lol.

The shop is lovely, it's got lots of character, it's welcoming and friendly, but it does only stock the bare essentials.
A little more variety would have been lovely, in terms of foods. But that's it.

Quiet, peaceful campsite. Away from main roads. Great little reception and shop. All the essential amenities and nice and clean.

Showers are small and without a 'dry area' to leave clothes and towels and dry and dress self

Very compact site with no open space for family activities. Poor condition toilets and showers and only two cubicles for the whole site!

Pitch 1 perfectly close to the shop and facilities yet great for the evening light and a good space

Pretty much everything!
The staff was easy to reach and helpful. Always saw the staff going around helping and tending to the campsite's needs.
The amenities were clean, well maintained, well located, organized and had everything I needed.
They did well to put families with children in one area and quiet couples in another.
They have everything you need: fresh pastries and bread to order, a nice mini market with everything you might need at good prices, all day everyday hot water, communal area to prepare food sheltered from the sun and rain, even pitches for tents and caravans, plenty of parking far from where you sleep, WiFi at the pitches in your tent...
Really, everything!

The only thing was about parking your car near the pitch. The asked me to move my car from the place I opened my tent (the pitch I was designated). After a discussion they allowed me to park my car near my tent because they saw that my tent is tiny and I needed the car close because I always went back and forth to take things.
They have a curfew for driving cars in and out of the campsite. Make sure you check what time is it and don't arrive too late.

Beautiful peaceful site. Great amenities. No 31a was the best pitch! Plug sockets for a small charge, fridge and freezer available to use at no charge. Great onsite shop.
