It was very quiet. Toilets and showers clean.

Pitches weren’t the best nothing seemed to be structured. We were told not to arrive before 3 which is quite late if we’d been told our pitch number via email this would have saved us finding somewhere to go until 3. Think the site was aimed more towards DofE.

Beautiful setting, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, great facilities (very warm showers, clean toilets, well stocked), very well-located to visit the best hikes and towns and generally a lovely place to stay - we had three nights but wanted several more by the time we left!

The camp staff were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. The camp shop was well stocked.

The pitches were far too close together, no privacy at all. The facilities were basic & ran out of toilet paper & soap more than once during the week. The camp was very noisy at night with children screaming and running up & down and playing music on phones till way past midnight, nowhere to empty chemical toilets onsite.

Hello, The location is great and it's a very clean place, it's my 3rd stay, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the guests are very polite.

Lovely quiet campsite, excellent shop, not a massive choice but everything you need including fresh coffee!
interested in coming back to try a Yurt with a woodfired hot tub!
Location is off the beaten track, and therefore getting to the popular places is 30 minutes, but that's OK as it meant the site was quiet and not too busy.

The staff were lovely and helpful, the shop was cute and well stocked with everything you need or forget from home; the views are beautiful.

The shower and toilet could have been cleaner, although we're not too bad. There was a lot of tissue over flowing in the bin at the end of the day.

The lakes and the views, walks on fells stunning and amazing nearby
Enjoyed visiting National trust places nearby like aria falls, sizergh castle, etc
Visited grange over sands and Cartmel both near to where my grandparents lived, reminiscing and telling family about feeding ducks on the pond, how the flying Scotsman stooped at grange over sands station when I was about seven, the bandstand with band playing music, the promenade along Morecambe bay, the race course at cartmel where I watched and got interested in horses, the priory church and their old house near a farm walked to get milk, that was fun!!!

The toilets never had paper in ladies, take your own, showers two and had to change/dry in toilet area so no privacy, near door so blokes could see you!!! The people who worked there are not understanding or amicable or even helpful, our gazebo blew down broke so had to throw in recycling, really awkward to get to area and no help offered, we went out got event shelter put up as more substantial then we went out for the day, one girl on our return said contacted boss and took photos as it was another tent, offered to show her only seating and cooking area but she walked off!! When it rains it downpours no shelter, tent leaked, even though been resprayed lots!!! Spent hours mopping up, plus trees nearby made noise, dogs barking even at night as farmland!!! The ground was hard stone so difficult to put tent pegs in, ruined and bent loads!! Only small shop, not much to purchase, nearest shop Kendal half hour away!! Had to park away from pitch, not good as I have physical disability, no disability facilities either!! Costs fortune to wash dry clothes, did have fridge/freezer, no notification need to bag and label items before going so couldn’t use!!! No where for children to play in open area or anywhere!! Not level pitches!

The location was beautiful! Stunning views all around.
The campsite was clean and well looked after.
There is a little shop inside a yurt which was really handy! Selling all your camping essentials.
The staff were really friendly too!
Close to Sizergh castle with a fantastic wild woodland trail for the children to do.
We will definitely come back!:)
