Small, well kept field. Facilities (toilet and shower block) were immaculate at all times, we could see that a lot of thought had gone into designing the shower block as the showers had a small wall to seperate an area you could hang your clothes within the cubicle, away from the shower head which meant all clothes were dry. Shower cubicles were very big too. Hairdryer in the woman's block and also plugs, best shower/ toilet block we have seen. Dog walking field where we could let the dog off on the lead as it was all fenced off was a bonus. We will definitely be back for more weekend stays as it's not far from home. We also loved the fact that every pitch had it's own picnic table to be used.
Не понравилось: There was an event /wedding going on in the venue down the road (Saturday night) and there was loud music that we could hear but us and the kids managed to still get to sleep so didn't bother us that much and clearly this is no fault of the campsite and the owners. We will be back to stay.

Thanks for the feedback. In response:
1. The waste skip is at the bottom of the site so everyone can use it as they leave the site. Also, we used to have bins at the top of the site, but when they were set on fire for the third time and were overloaded with discarded camping kit/nappies, we gave up and had a steel skip at the bottom that we can monitor and won't cause a nuisance. Further still, there would be safety/nuisance concerns about an 8 tonne lorry emptying the skip near the camping field whilst there were campers on site.
2. You messaged me on Friday night that a group were being noisy at round 11pm. I went up and the noise stopped. I messaged you to confirm the same and requested that you let me know if there were any further issues. You didn't. As fun as it would be to spy on campers all night (imagine full military attire like in Commando), it's just not cricket.
3. I can't help it if your children are difficult.
4. We removed our bike hire facility some time ago as there was little demand for it. We did recommend a bike hire company down the road.

Thanks for the review. Apologies for the blood but a camper refused to use the toilet brush and had to be persuaded. We do a 'proper' clean once a day and check it say another 2/3 times when there are people on site.
